No thanks. I'm not max cp but I have multiple opportunities if I wanted to be to be there by now. And I have another starting tomorrow. There are way too many double xp events for there to even be a need for something like this.

You are aware that you have to reach level 50 and a high CP level with ONE Character... Then with every single other character when they reach level 50 POOOFFF! you have all the collected CPs from your main...

For example. When you purchase the latest expansion in WoW, they add a free boost so that you can experience the new content. Why isn't it being done here? We should get our champion points boosted to 500 or 550 when we purchase Morrowind. What do you all say? Because the way it is now, a player can be away from the game for 2 years and when he comes back, he is sooo far behind and has to do boring grinding by killing mobs over and over. It is stupid.

So why should someone who can't be bothered to play the game for two years be immediately put in the same position as someone who has contributed both time and money to the game for all that time? That's what would be stupid.

If you want to play the game, then play it and reap the benefits from your involvement. If you don't want to play the game, then that's fine but don't expect to be handed the benefits in return for your non-involvement.

What is it with the "I want something for nothing and I want it now" brigade these days?

Look it took me a long long long long long long long time just to get to V12 when vet ranks were a thing. I then had to level my CP up to 600 as well taking a long long long long long long tine as well. I sit at over 750 CP now because I play ESO A LOT!

I say it would be a slap in my face if this was ever a thing. That is my view.

if u want equivalent to WoW you get a 1 time lvl 50 character boost, which still mesns nothing here since u still get to level all skill trees. So no it doesnt make sense at all to give free boosts here.

Also wow has boosts now they want people to play the new content which is high level so they need the boost, thats not the case here

I don't think it makes any sense to get a CP boost. however. I think at least your first warden should come with horse training already maxed out.

I would rather get something you can't grind out, like crowns. When you buy a WoW expansion, or Diablo expansion, they don't give you exp or paragon points. It's always better to receive gifts that cost real money, and not something you get from playing the game.

As other people have said since One Tamriel there's no need for this.

WoW gives new players the boost so they don't have to spend dozens of hours grinding levels in virtually empty maps before they can join in with the new content. In ESO you can jump straight into whatever you want to do without needing to level up. (It is much easier when you're actually a high level instead of boosted, but you can do it.)

Not talking about getting boosted to lvl 50. Just champion points. We should get champion points. Its no fun getting one shotted in pvp by a 600 cp [snip]

Purchasing should grant me a Maxed mount license for my Warden so he can catch up to everyone; quite literally. Training mount is a much longer grind than Champion points and character level combined. It'll make it difficult to have fun with him in PvP when he hits 50.

That's because WOW areas are level limited and ESO is not. Does anyone in WOW actually go back and play the old content?

WoW does this because the zones are levelled and you cannot play the new content properly without an at-level character.

Meanwhile ESO has adopted GW2's model of zone level-scaling and Morrowind itself is intended as a place one could play a new character entirely from scratch within.
