Yokeda and Phoenix wouldn't technically mitigate, just grant a free res which I think doesn't count for a "death" even. I haven't actually tested it there, but last I tried to use Phoenix in vet coh 2 to survive Nerien's one-shot I ran into some very peculiar bugs there.
Let us know how it goes if you try it, I'm curious
