Weird mouse/keyboard issue

So I got a new laptop with windows 10, and while my game WAS working great, I'm now having a weird issue where if I have a keyboard button pressed, my trackpad movement stops working; I can only move the mouse around if I'm not pressing anything at the same time. Meaning I can't move and look around at the same time. Has anyone else had this problem? How do you fix it?

    It's just the way your laptop manufacturer decided to do things, not expecting anyone to need to game with a trackpad. They were cutting corners to save money/space. To fix it just plug an external mouse and keyboard into your laptop, or probably just an external mouse.

    But it worked fine a day or two ago. Not sure why it doesn't now. Maybe a driver update throwing things off?

    There's a setting somewhere to turn this on... It's so when people are typing they don't accidentally move their cursor around. Can you click your trackpad settings and double check?

    Oh I see, I assumed it was an issue since the new laptop. As runs said it may be a setting that toggled on somehow. Can I recommend that you use an external mouse anyway? The thought of playing eso with a trackpad makes me feel bad.
