As far as I'm informed, the BGs will be situated in Vvardenfell. There it's quiet difficult to separate them from the whole chapter.

And how many crowns would you pay 2500, 5000. Right now with the upgrade at $40 it's priced at approx 5500 crowns if it was in the crown store. It's just how you have to purchase it.

I would be happy to pay less for a version of Morrowind without battlegrounds, since I have no interest in them. But ZOS knows what they are doing, so both of us will pay full price even if there are things which are included and hold no interest to you or me.

And I wish I could buy the game without PvP and with out voice lines for certain NPC's Oh and I don't really want enchanting so wish I didnt need to pay for that part! Sounds stupid right?

You dont get to peice your experience together when a priced peice of major content with multiple features is released.

I am paying 40 dollars for the warden and bgs just as much as the other guy is paying 40 dollars for the ability to commute via silt striders.

There should be a 50% discount for a non-PVP version, where PVE builds aren't jacked due to PVP 'lolbalance'.

If you get paid every week from work. You can literally take out $3.5 every week for 11 weeks and save up so you can afford the "expansion" in June.

I have orsinium when it was on sale for like 750 crowns, but I've never set foot into DLC content yet and i've played on and off since launch. I just want to experience the new class.

I suspect a lot of people would like to be about to buy only the parts of the expansion they're interested in. I'd like the opposite of the OP - everything except battlegrounds because I'll probably never use them.

But that means less money for ZOS and having to make future updates compatible for people who may or may not have all the previous stuff. Which they have to do already since some people might not get Morrowind at all, or might get Morrowind but none of the DLC, but the more they break it down the more complicated it becomes.

And what your saying is exactly the reason you must pay for the entire expansion. Those that PvP and only PvP have no reason to purchase DLCs or sub, though I expect some do. Lower revenues source overall.

I think Zos messsed up. Some aspect of BG should have a perk in ESO+. Maybe faster queue times.

Besides. The expansion is cheap so really not a big deal for anyone really interested in BG.

I love how people always say this as if obviously buying a video game should be your top priority and the only reason you couldn't afford it (or wouldn't want to spend the money) is if you literally cannot afford that much.

Since Morrowind was announced I've gone from "Cool, I'll get that soon" to "Oh, we're definitely going on holiday, I'll book that this month and get Morrowind next month" to "Oh damn, the graphics card is definitely dead I'll get a new one and get Morrowind next month" to "Wow, there's a lot of birthdays in my family in March, and several big ones this year, I'll get Morrowind next month" to "Wait, it's my birthday coming up, I'll get it as a birthday present instead". But that could easily change as well.

I mean I could actually afford it at any time, so the worst case scenario is I buy it a couple of days before it's released. But since an expansion for a video game ranks pretty low in my list of priorities if I need to shuffle my budget around to afford something else that's what's going to get delayed.

I don't even think they should charge for battlegrounds tbh, but it is what it is.

I think they should have been a base game addition. I don't feel strongly either way personally because I would have bought Morrowind regarless.

But more people playing the battlegrounds means shorter queues and more people trying it means the change of someone getting hooked is bigger.

I suspect that it will become free for all subscribers after 2-3 months when the queues start to normalize.
