We Need a Vet Campaign Like Blackwater Blade

This week I made some low level characters for pvp and decided to go to Blackwater Blade, and now, I never want to leave. The balance is basically perfect. You actually have to build towards sustain, most people are running crafted sets with medium or light armor, which means no tanky damage dealers, and best of all, no one is unkillable. The only downside is that your character levels, loses stats and eventually will have to leave BWB. Now I'm not only saying this because people there don't know what's going on. There's actually other experienced players that go there too.

The fact that in order to stay there I'll have to constantly grind lower levels and delete them once they get higher is frustrating. I really want to see a campaign with similar balance for people with CP. Disabiling CP is NOT the solution. Some of the newer sets do way too much damage and without CP into bastion or hardy, these sets throw non CP balance out the window.

My idea for a campaign
I think you could achieve Blackwater Blade balance by making a campaign where only crafted sets are allowed. (Maybe even create some new crafted sets that give a balance of sustain and damage) Next make the CP cap on this campaign 300 which would also reduce damage and encourage people to build towards sustain. Also make heavy armor reduce your damage done. And Lastly, put in damage stat caps something like your max magicka/ Stam and weapon/spell damage can't exceed 70 or maybe 65 when combined (35 max magicka 3.5k spell damage would be the cap but it could also be 45k max magicka 2.5k spell damage and so on)

What do you think?

There is already Azura's Star, and why do you want to ban all these sets? People use dropped sets in Blackwater Blade, even monster helms.

Lol monster helms and non vets idk how that would happen. PvP is ridiculous right now. Damage is sky high, people are too tanky, procs are still strong, it really takes the fun out of PVP. I just want a skill based environment. Regarding your comment about Azuras, I already mentioned that no CP isn't balance. It just worsens solo play and buffs proc groups and destro ult farmers.

"worsens solo play" - This is a Large-Scale Siege Warfare MMORPG. This isn't an Arena-Based PvP game... Nothing is balanced around solo play, get that non-sense out of here..

You feel damage is too high and everyone is too tanky at the same time? How does that work, or are there only certain players that are too tanky? During non-CP week it seemed everybody was dying much faster.

Many different sets that proc various effects - if you feel viper or some specific sets do too much damage wouldn't it be simpler to just nerf the damage on those particular sets?

We have such a small PVP population these days, I imagine it is unlikely we have enough players to sustain an entirely new campaign limited to crafted sets.

Lol solo play used to be viable it's slowly losing viability but I'm not recommending that the game should be balanced around solo play but it should be an environment where groups large or small and solo players can all enjoy the game.

Players are tanky but dealing high amounts of damage at the same time. If you wear light or medium armor the damage is so high you just instantly melt. Or you can have low damage and be so tanky that zergs can't even kill you.

Well, play Azura. Because all of what you just mentioned is due to CP.

Incorrect. This is an open world sandbox play as you want game. Your keeps are but the framework around which the map is arranged, and there's a lot more map out there. All play styles and group sizes are equally important in balance considerations.

Incorrect. The Elder Scrolls games in general are open-world sandbox. Elder Scrolls Online was advertised as a Large-Scale Siege Warfare MMORPG for PvP.

    1-monster helms in nom vet:
pretty easily actually, you run a dungeon the helm drops in your level. you get an undaunted key the shoulder drops in your level.

    2-skill based emvironment:
scourge, haderus, etc IS that. yes, there are some cancer builds running around, usually tanks and gank builds, every other build is fightable. cancer tanks you just ignore, gank builds you use detec pots and have gear where you hopefully dont get kne shotted (as a sorc i usually just put on defensive rune when i run around from point A to B). healers you just have to defile. annoying, yes, impossable, no.
ive seen low 300 to mid 400 cp guys wreak cp 600's by having better movement and skill rotation, so by having better "skill".
BWB has alot of guys who dont pvp much or have never pvp'd at all, the skill gap is alot smaller, perhaps you just enjoyed it more because you ran into more people you were closely matched with as scourge has alot of longtime pvpers who are very skilled at the game

I've never seen a monster set being used in BWB. And yes I'm aware Blackwater has less skilled players, but that's not what makes it fun, what makes it fun is the balance. I'm asking for a Vet level campaign like Blackwater so long time players will more likely join. Regardless, I still die in BWB as I should. I can't Tank a whole group in heavy armor or have unlimited sustain. Also the people I attack all have a chance, even the gankers don't one shot you, it actually takes a few hits to kill someone unlike normal campaigns where damage is out of control.I've run into players there that I know have a Praetorian or something and are CP 600 and I still had more fun fighting them than I would have in a normal campaign. It's far more than the people that make it such a good campaign.

I think a campaign with a CP cap would be interesting, maybe even capped lower like 200 or 250. Not enough so that you could be invincible or build one hit gank builds, but just enough so that you could tweak your build towards damage or sustain or whatever.
