Bot-o-rama at the Iluvamir Dolmen in Auridon .....

So many bots. Really obvious ones. They're all endlessly firing their weapons at the exact same spot on the dolmen, the spot where the boss spawns. They don't move, just keep firing even when the dolmen isn't fired up. I reported four of them, but after that I gave up.

I wonder if the botters put out more bots on the weekends in the hope that ZOS employees aren't working on the weekends to catch them. *Sigh*

All we can do is keep reporting them. But I find it super annoying that they exist far longer than should be happening. I remember a thread that went on for ages about a bot in Wrothgar that seemed to take months to be resolved. These sort of things should not be taking months.

They were there the other night too. I was farming for rings of the queens elegance set and it was full of them. I've reported some. At least the bot problem is not as bad as it was at launch.

It's not fair that we have to take time out of our gameplay to report bots to Zos. It truly is silly that we have to do it for them, it changes their customers experience of their game and looks bad and is bad for everyone involved.

ZOS employees are never working to catch them. ZOS has no in house GM staff or at least have never once spoken about them or confirmed it.

From most of the communities point of view everything is outsourced like other big MMO companies do, and their reaction time to botting tickets is a joke.

Jessica made a post recently saying keep reporting as if someone gets multiple tickets they move higher up the queue of tickets, but sadly ZOS' has always been a "program the issue away" rather than "actually get in game and do something" and their comments about changing the way monsters or geography works to stop this only goes to show they're going down the same route again.

There would be a very easy way to fix this.

Change their policy to punishments for botting and similar.
Make it into an "account locked until fine (in crowns, aka real money) is paid" - I mean, talk about motivation, right? If they can do "policing for profit"... they might be somewhat less disinclined to provide a rapid response to the botters I would think... one hint of botting and they'd be all like:

People may find this forum post interesting since it demonstrates there are suspensions occurring for botting.
