I understand that rigging long hairs can be quite the task sometimes. I have created some polygon hairs for another game and rigged them and it was a nightmare. But, I hate rigging. It drives me insane. Maybe I am too picky? Maybe I know what is possible and get frustrated when I can not achieve it or when I see rigged meshes, like these, that hurt my feels..

Anyway, clearly ESO hairs are not polygon hairs. But, no matter the hair type, the rig on the long female hair is a nightmare in itself. I LOVE this hair... But, I can not look at it closely when I wear it because it just rips my little 3D modeler heart apart... I just wonder why it is left like this....

I just want the ESO Gods to explain this travesty to me... So I can finally understand.... Because... Well..... It feels bad man.
Hurt Feels #1 - Why? Why was this area of the hair weighted the way that it is? Was it weighted with bulky armour in mind? Is there a reason that when we move our head, there is a hole big enough for my maincoon cat to crawl inside and live? The world may never know.....
Hurt Feels #2 - Wait..What..WHY? Why is the end of this part of the hair, seemingly super glued to her collar bone? Is that really necessary? Are ESO characters so self conscious of their ever changing wigs that they feel the need to use wig tape on their collar bone to keep that strand in line?........... Seriously though, the weighting on the edge of this is far too harsh. Simply smoothing the weights on the end would make this move so much smoother and look so much better with the character.
I understand that getting every piece of mesh clothing, hair, etc etc to work well with one another is no easy task! But, things like this... Long standing, cringe worthy, things like this.... It would literally take just a few clicks of smooth weights tool in Maya and BAM, hair is fixed.

Thank you for feeling my feels with me.
