Unfortunately, I am at my wits end with this problem.
For over a year, I have been unable a buy single item, sub time, anything from their website. I have had one instance of being able to renew my sub for one month in the past year and half, and of course as it goes to renew it again this same error shows up yet again even though I never touched a single thing on my account after renewing. I have written multiple tickets now regarding this very problem, checked multiple sites that discuss this game, the main site and reddit included. Yet I haven't gotten a single answer as to what the hell is going on. I know seems to receive auto-replies telling me to do the exact things I have already tried and stated didn't work in the very ticket that sent the auto-reply.
This clearly is problem that has been going on with portions of the player base for well over a year now, yet I haven't been able to find a single instance where ZOS explains what is going on.
I am able to purchase games off of any other source (Steam, Origin, Battle.net) with zero problems with my current card, yet literally every single time I try to purchase something off of the ESO website this error occurs without fail. I have checked my billing address, card number, my bank, and different web browsers on multiple occasions to try and remedy this problem, yet without fail it continues to happen.
Does anyone have the slightest idea as to what the actual problem is? Because I am just about over running around in circles with this problem. I love the *** out of this game, but I have never had this much of a problem trying to renew a damn subscription or purchase something of an online store before. Regardless of the outcome, I would like an answer as to what is actually going on so that I can either get the problem fixed so I continue to support the game or so I can stop wasting my time and move on.

AJ_1988✭✭✭Only thing I can suggest is pm a mod/admin etc on here and maybe even ask your bank if there is an issue due some technical glitch. Not much you can really do apart from that and maybe trying. Other payment method. PayPal maybe? Borrowing someone's card- with their permission of course.0
