Veteran Fungal Grotto II - Can't loot Vila Theran

Did the whole dungeon to get a Spawn of Mephala monster helm and I can't loot Vila Theran after defeating her. Happened to the whole group. I know this isn't related at all to the constant maintenance etc. But when so many things go wrong in one game it does make me question why I even bother playing it when I seem to just get pooed on all the time lol. Just a rant, i'm sure this is just a one of bad timing unlucky bug or glitch or whatever but damn its annoying. Guess I better do this again.

Honestly, it's probably something simple like the boss not being where it shows that she is. It happens to Dranos Validor in Cradle of Shadows, he's super buggy and slides around the map, so if he dies when he's being all weird, his body will appear to be in one place, but the server will think he's somewhere else, and you'll get the message "You're not close enough to loot".

If it's not giving you that message, could be that you just need to roll-dodge, switch weapons and do a heavy attack while also singing Britney Spears' Toxic backwards. That'll do the trick for sure.

I think it has smth to do with the teleportation of the boss: the game shows the corpse at one location, but the loot prompt is somewhere else

Probably worth mentioning that I did not obtain the Spawn of Mephala trophy bust either. And before anyone asks lol it was on Veteran II

I saw a bug last night in Veteran Vaults of Madness where the giant skellie boss did his charge & got stuck inside a pole :P He could still hit you if you stood close enough but could not be targetted by anyone. We had to slowly slowly burn him down with AOE... but at least his corpse was lootable... though you had to jump & hit E on the apex of your jump LOL
