stormfist for magicka?

I know it's half physical, but how does this set work for casters? Seems like it'd fit my mage character theme pretty well

Compared with other options, namely Grothdar and Ilambris, it's horrid. 110% would not touch with a stick.

It's not "bad", but compared to other sets, its not good and more situational. The only fitting class is Stam Sorc, it benefits from Sorc passives like extra Shock and Physical Damage + grants more chances to proc implosion, both the shock damage and the physical damage one.

Ok, stormfist is a no go then.

I picked up the iceheart set last night though and that one has been pretty fun. It'll last until I can get ilambris at least.

But the tooltip says Stormfist does more damage than Ilambris or Grothdarr... so for Magicka Sorcerers, wouldnt it be good? The one piece is useful too because we still need to block and dodge

I notice the extra dodge roll and block regen more than the 2% magicka, so I’ll stick to Stormfist for a while
