So I've been playing since first beta and only tried PvP a couple times. I always get absolutely pummeled in seconds and I rage quit cyrodiil. Double AP week has me really wanting to take advantage. Any tips for a magicka sorc that just wants to get the most AP I can this week without dying every time I see one player?

Magsorc is the 2nd hardest class to play :P You will want to run Spinner+Lich (destro spinner front bar and restro lich back bar), stack shield and spam force pulse until frag procs, when it procs, put curse on, 1 LA+force pulse, then frag, then execute right away.

✭Are you trying to learn to PVP, or just get as much AP as possible without worrying about getting better at PVP?
If you're just in it for the AP, stay with a large group, spam heals, spam ranged attacks at enemies, and fire siege. You'll still get killed, but staying further back in a large group will generally allow you to stay alive longer. While you won't really get too much better at PVP doing this, it is probably the easiest way for somebody unfamiliar with PVP to get AP.1 -

Skritha✭ESO PvP boils down to this: Stun > Spammable High DPS Skill > Execute Skill.
All other skills that don't directly involve this chain are there to prevent someone else landing this chain on you. (For example armor buffs, self-heals, immovable pots).
Most classes can put together some combination that implements this chain, but on some it is more difficult and not as obvious. The 2H sword is an example of a single weapon that includes all three parts, which is why it is so common.
The best approach is probably to find a class and weapon combination you like to play, and then find a way to put those parts together.Edited by Skritha on February 28, 2017 7:30AM0 -
