Let's talk Out Post farm /rp Event


So why do most players feel the need to do this and is it Wrong to do ?.
First of 95% of my game play is PvE Trial Dungeons and so on i Love the new Housing and i am spending all my gold on it Yes i am Crazy so i am playing elder scrolls so is it not natural i want a scroll in my House? or a Awesome way shrine if you are in to housing the will most likely bee yes. hear is the problem if you are only doing PvE it will properly take 10 year for me to get the rank i need to get a scroll or a way shrine for my house. and their is no way to get this house items from PvE so what is the natural thing to do well if you can trade flags and get the ap you need why not i dont see it being against the rules. if it was the other way around that you needed to do v-Maw of Lorkhaj or any other trial to get the beast looking house items the PvP'ers would look for a way to chess it. and be angry that thy ware being excluded Hear is a fact most pvp players have done all the quest or close to them all it wont take them years to do it, most pve players dont play pvp not what thy want out of the game so why exclude one group from getting this items.

when housing first came out i was happy to so the scroll was not bound and i would have a chance to buy it how ever that is no longer the case so what do you expect us to do

Last i just want to add i dont care about pvp rank i dont care about ap i just want a freaking scroll and way shrine for my house nothing more nothing less i dont want to pay crowns for then i want to obtain it in game via achievements i dont want to spend the next 10 years in cyrodill trying to get to rank 49 to get it

Im so confused. So you dont want to play a major part of the game to get things in the that you dont have access to? the scrolls are meant to be something to work for not just have because roleplay thats not how MMO's work sorry.

Why does everyone segregate themselves into PvP and PvE players to the point they feel like shortcuts should be added to achieve XYZ?

Just play all aspects of the game as designed. If you want to be GO PvP alot, invest time into it. If you want items/collectables from PvE do the associated content/achievements to obtain them. If you are not prepared to do that it's fine, just don't expect/demand its rewards gifted to you just because you want it.

Also I am not being sarcastic. I am genuinely curious as to why people label themselves as a PvP or PvE player and why in doing so feel as if ZOS should accommodate them.

I understand people like different things and believe there could be improvements to systems so people can get maximum enjoyment from their time spent in game. A key example of this is that the majority of the sets in game are obtained via PvE. Another example could be the means to unlock skills such as Warhorn predominantly used in PvE (Although I feel this has been alleviated somewhat with the reductions in requirements etc) are only accessible via PvP.

My main gripe however with threads like this (which there are many) is that just because you do not like to play certain 'modes' of the game, doesn't/shouldn't mean in my opinion you should devalue its rewards nor classify people as one or the other and make assumptions and justifications like 'PvP players cheese vmol so is it ethical for me to do the same for ranks so I can get a scroll for my house?'.

There are, I am sure numerous players who do enjoy all aspects of the game and actively PvP and PvE to end game levels, just as there are numerous players who do not or are indifferent about it all and as a result each able to showcase their efforts in game to the community.

I think it should be obvious what the answer is to your question. If you ever have to ask the question if you think it is ethical or not? Chances are it's the latter.

Personally I find it rather lame how many people in the community are actively participating in AP 'Roleplay' sessions, but what I find more disheartening is how many people try to justify it/ spout about loopholes in the T&C all in the name of gaining some AP for rank for vanity/achievements/currency for gold.

It simply devalues all of the said above to the point of redundancy and simply damages the integrity of the game.

I am sure many will argue their case, but let's be real here. Conceding/manipulating actions with the opposing player/team for a manufactured end result is poor sportsmanship in almost every other game and every competitive sport. In this case it's boosting for AvA Ranks, Achievements and in game currency.

Apologies for essay, just thought I'd share my two cents and see if anyone agreed and I for one believe in light of what is happening, if it isn't already so, is that boosting should be against the T&C. PvP is supposed to be competitive for it to be enjoyable, for something to be competitive it should require skill and rewards to drive towards by definition, we simply don't have that in this game. I fear for when battlegrounds come when a large chunk of the rewards will be AP. Something that loses its value daily when it had little value to begin with for a long time now.

You simply do not deserve it. Can I have the Flawless Conqueror title by afking for a week inside the solo trial?

Oh and in case you don't know, you do get "beast looking house items" if you beat vMoL.

I think we have talked about this enough in the other threads.

Here are the key points.

• As much as you hate it, it's not cheating/exploiting.
• Titles in PvP much like PvE no longer hold value if you care about that.
• ZOS doesn't monitor the EU server for stats.
• ZOS doesn't care about this issue enough to step in with a temp fix.
