I will not be participating in the double ap outpost farming, im too proud of my rank to ruin it by boosting it, i earned mine through a lot of tough battles solo playing

Yes, i was quite happy to be among the first Grand Overlords in the game actually.

Because running in a blob spamming Eye of the Skill is a much more honorable way to earn your title than a week of double AP.

PvP titles have been meaningless since no talent blobspam groups have been in this game.

So pretty much since the original cancer guild used to run impulse mobs.

AP has always just been a stat you farm. The more you play, the more you get. It's never said anything about you other than how much you pvp.

So no, I am not proud of my rank. Nor would I farm for it. I simply don't care about it as a stat.

Give me a stat that is determined by wins/losses in a good matchmaking system, and I'll care about that.

Especially since most of the Overlord rank players got that rank figuring ways to efficiently farm AP. It was never about pvp at all, but a way to cheat the grind.

We never had a true measurement of the skill of the player in this game.

I will also be proud of the discarded Covenant death machines I may be able to acquire in a week or so.

Alliance Rank just shows how much you've PVPed, it does not really indicate skill level. Some do it more efficiently (AP/hour) than others but that's it.

There wasn't really an option that reflected that.

Is there an option for don't care either way? Like I don't care so much about my rank that I avoid pvp this week to protect its legimacy, but likewise won't seek out opportunity to artificially inflate my rank. I'll just play, and what happens, happens.

it was cool to have when it mattered, just like being a real emperor was always neat.

I have had to realize though people don't play the game for the same reasons I do, nor with the same goals in mind.

That said, it's a game, and really one that sadly casual AF is the only logical route anymore.

I treat my own rank(s) as personal milestones. I don't like to cheese AP gains to rank up, so I am personally proud of reaching different ranks.

That being said, the constant changes to AP gains have nullified AR as anything of meaning.

So, I am not impressed by ranks, but I do feel accomplishment when I achieve mine (in a personally perceived legitimate fashion). Yay.

I don't care about my rank. I just want more AP to spend and hopefully get the last two pices of armor in the trait I want. Those boxes are adding up in AP spent!

Honestly after you have unlocked Assault and Support 10 it's all window dressing. Hopefully you gain experience in different scales of playing as well as offensive and defensive strategy along the way. I play for the good fights, camaraderie, and on rare occasion the good feels that come from ganking the ever loving crap out of someone.

I hardly pvp anymore so my rank stays the same for months and its depressing seeing people I was 4 ranks ahead of suddenly 4 ranks ahead of me
