Trying to Upgrade A VMA Lighting Staff Infused to Gold

I've tried to do an upgrade on a purple to gold, even tried using 2 diff of my players, and neither will show up on the anvil to do and upgraded on, I've tried keeping it in the bank or putting it directly and neither worked. I currently have about 60 vma weapons, and I didn't try all of them, but a whole bunch of them did show up, and I've upgraded a couple b4 as well, one bing a Lighting Sharpened that did work a while, but the Infused will not upgrade. anyone else have this problem?

Make sure the staff isn't locked

Is it locked?.. locked items don't show up as available to upgrade.

So just gonna ask.....do you have the crafting passives. It's been too long as I have all but does it not show if you've reset skills and not added the 10/10 passives

Sry just checking as others have a better suggestion to make sure the item isn't locked.

Staves aren't upgraded at Anvils.
You need to go to a woodworking station to upgrade them.

You're lucky they didn't whittle it down for you and use it as a handle for a dagger...

Talking about dambass things. I've been playing this game since console release and I only realised last month that you could change the glyphs in some armours and all undaunted sets. I was always wondering how people were stipulating that for example, to go with a heavy monster helm with magica recovery. I thought these were rare ass drops.

given the circumstances.... i think they should have...

Make sure its not locked and not equipped, and should show up at the woodwork station.
