Guild Traders Broken?

I was really looking forward to not having to reinput the parameters that i am looking for into every guild trader in tamriel, so when i went to try out the new feature today i went to look for a piece of armor only to find that there is no longer an option to specify what piece of armor you would like to search for. so if i want a specific piece of gear i have to look through all pieces of light armor from head to shoes. Is this an intended feature because currently it is making searching traders incredibly irritating.
