Morrowind Questline - Grinding like Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood?

Just a simple question; does anyone know if the progress in the main quest of the new Morrowind expansion will be handled the same way the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood were? That is to say, you have to grind a skill-line before you can advance into the questline. Because I won't buy it if it is.

I highly doubt it considering we don't have a guild to help. I'm hoping it's like Orsinium.

The consumables will only have a small chance of working too.

I'll be betting it's like this. DB and TG were short and small so the grinding was to stretch it out.
Morrowind is a major piece of content so there will be a lot more put into the quests and progression.

DB/TG was guild dlc, based on a skill line, and every guild skill line need to be grinded. Orsinium was a pure quest dlc without any skill line, and I suppose Morrowind will be the same.

There's no point wondering about this sort of thing before it's even remotely close to being released. Maybe wait until it becomes available on the PTS, which would happen in 2-3 months most likely.

That being said, it will likely not follow the pattern of Dark Brotherhood or Thieves' Guild, but be more like an actual zone (or several zones, not sure how they are going to handle it) i.e. it will probably be more akin to the Orsinium DLC with one or several overarching main stories and several side stories, in contrast to the two aforementioned DLCs that were both mostly just the mainstory based around a skill line progression.

I'm not really sure why you'd suspect such a progression model either, since there is no clear skill tree they could be adding with Morrowind. TG and DB were made to be similar to Mage's and Fighter's Guild that both follow that progression model with their stories, which is why they turned out the way they did.

Yes, now if Morrowind adds new guilds I guess they have to be grinded to.
Note that back in Morrowind you had to do extra quests in guild to advance.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I very much doubt it. If there are any guilds to join, then I would expect those to follow that setup, but not the main questline.
