It's so hard to manage different alts and then you realize that gear on one of your other alts isn't as good as it used to be. The gold sink for TBS is something i really regret...

Why do you say you regret it? Just curious as I was about to gold out my TBS. Is it not good in homestead?

i think i saw on theseforums a ref to a bug with tbs and zoning in homestead that has since been fixed or being worked on.
Also, there was a change to how some crit factors combine which may have impacted tbs too in its common thief-shadow config.

    but thats just huessing.

i think its still a good set for 12 bonus builds or mael/master builds. not as sur efor 11-bonus builds.

I haven't bought bank space since month 4 after release.

I really want more bank and inventory space... but pvp equipment tanks all my money. And not for lack of trying, I can turn over a ton of gold in a month.

I can so relate to the title of this thread, haha

I'm over the moon if I find something worth 20k, not to say 50k, and 75k is like every six months. But now I'm into crafting, in order to furnish my new house, after severely criticizing the Homestead update... Yeah... :)

not necessarily. might be here in america where we dont use metric and where i half expect our scienc eto abandon it any day now as well... i expect our physics will be using furlongs per fortnight for velocity over the metric variety any day now.

This is so me! I've been around since Beta, but I did go on a hiatus for 2 years, and came back for homestead (I've been a player housing junkie in many MMOs so this was perfect). All, and I mean ALL of my gold always went into upgrading bag space and bank space. I think I was saving up for the next bank upgrade when I came back because I had about 20k in there, then I sold a purple level blueprint to a guildie for 35k within a few days of homestead coming out, and grinded to get the rest of the gold to get the Cyrodilic Jungle House which was 70k. Since then my gold has been pouring into buying achievement furnishings, and a couple bag upgrades on alts. I currently have a little over 1k.

Pvp player here. Have around 5 million saved up with plenty of mats and gold upgrade materials. I farm for mats from time to time so everything adds up. I also farm for sets that are worth good amounts of gold. Selling upgrade materials, glyphs etc nets a good profit.

I'm down to 14m now....bought the last page of all current ore homestead motifs today. Hard times. I do wonder how some people never have any gold. Seriously farm your gear and stop buying it and stop buying gold mats. Do your writs and get them. Do some dailies and farm motifs. I make over 100k a day just from 2 dailies per toon on 7 toons. It's really not difficult nor time consuming. Too much standing at pride rock doing *** all is what's wrong.

Funny you put it like that. I wonder the exact opposite. Why do people need so much money. Prior to housing, there was nothing to spend millions on

Housing is tomorrow for me. I have nothing to buy. I have all the sets I need, hundreds of gold mats, every single motif page known to date. There is nothing to buy. There hasn't been for ages. Tomorrow I'll drop a few million fo sho. Gotta buy me a mansion and pimp my crib out yo. Honestly I haven't had anything to buy in yonks. I gave the GM 1m just for helping me a while ago. Gold is nothing to me. I'm actually glad to have a gold and AP sink. Got 5.5m AP banked up atm.

The console economy has way more inflation than PC. Your tempers cost 3x as much. Your earnings on PC would be quite a bit lower.

Same. I've probably earned millions in the game, already. But I've never had more than 200k at hand because, yeah, I spend it on re-speccing, sorting my build out, trying out new ones, pots, mats, etc. Currently I'm at 40k.

What "dailies" should I be doing exactly?

    Sincerely, Someone "Always Broke"

Gold coast. World boss + DB sacrements.
TG heists. Easy with a nightblade. Takes 5 mins and guarantees motif.
Spellscar and tower in craglorn. Not guaranteed motif but they sell for big bucks and these 2 are relatively quick.

If you got 5 motifs from them which is easy if you have 5 toons that's over 100k a day minimum. Yokudan on XB EU sells for at least 60k+.

Now the good part. Doing TG heists and looting thieves troves you get the laundered shipments and item caches. When you have tons and tons of laundered items go to the tip board and cycle through the quests by going in and out until you get covetess countess. It'll say just deliver the laundered items. Do this back to back to back to back to back and you'll rake in Abahs watch motif. It's about a 1 in 3 drop rate and takes less than 3 mins each time. No one bothers with them atm and you can literally make up the price for it. I sold swords for 150k over the weekend as I was fairly sure no one had it for sale.

I leave out the mages guild cuz those force you to group content. it may be group content you can solo fairly easily but not everyone is that interested in the group stuff.

Mages guild daily is easiest. Just go to the boss room, take a thing from chest and flee. I'm doing all quests in public dungeon when I get there for first time, but for other times I just ignore boss if it is not up. I'm just taking item and use EasyTravel addon to to travel to this or next zone. Bosses in public dungeons are easily soloable for now, just stay out of red, use food, slot self-heals, and spam dots. Only unlucky ones are some stamina builds that need to get Vigor by doing PvP.

If I am running prosperous on all items would this help?

No. GOD no. Awful idea, prosperous gear is a complete waste of an armor slot. Better trait, kill faster and easier, you'll net more gold looted over time.

I make 500K to a mil a week pretty easily, with moderate playtime (2 to 3 hours a night). I of course do this selling what I dont need on a guild trader in one of my three trading guilds, which is hands down the fastest, easiest way to make money in the game. If you want to make money in ESO (and its one of the easiest games to make a fortune in) join at least one busy trading guild. I did some suggestions on how in a different thread: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3826823/#Comment_3826823

But some quick info: crafting materials, if you dont use them all yourself, are by far the best sellers over time. These will make you a bundle....so skilling up at least one crafting profession for advanced harvesting is a great idea. Second, YOU CAN UPGRADE QUALITY OF DROPPED GEAR AT THE CRAFTING TABLE!! I get green gear with great traits all the time, and spending a couple thousand in mats can give you a huge profit. One example: found a green dagger in a certain dwarven ruin in a desirable trait, then spent about 2K in upgrade materials at a smithing table and put the newly epic dagger onto my busiest trader. Twenty-four hours later I opened my mail to 350K cash. A good day! If you plain cannot or will not spent the points to craft, find someone you can trust who does, and who has maxed upgrade passives, and toss them a few tempers or waxes or rosins a week to upgrade gear for you.

Anyway, it pretty much rains gold in ESO. You just need to be smart enough to grab a bucket.

This requires you to be at least 160 correct?
I am currently sitting at 135CP so my "gear" is too low for the base 160 desired gear sets etc.

Ill stick to mats. I wear Medium armor therefore I harvest most of my adv. mats from clothing. Should I also focus on Heavy armor for bigger profits? I think I heard that those are more sought out for anyway

Yah I'm always broke, but when you can do all your own crafting ithe makes things easier. Worse case, I go grind nodes for a couple hours or sell ap. Either I get the resources I need with no money and/or can sell fruits of my labor to get the item I might need. All in all, crafting bags and crafting my own stuff has saved and made me the money and items I need to sustain myself for solid endgame play.

I have less than the price of the next bag upgrade, I've now started to focus on finishing the bank ones so 29/70K then I think there are two more slots to get, after which its all about the toons and the next for each is the 19.2K slot.

Gonna stay poor for quite a long time.

The only real issue is the constant pull between selling items and decon for skill and base materials.

I will sell say 500k ap to someone. They will decide what they want with it. I will then go purchase said item and give it to them for gold.
