Why do you say you regret it? Just curious as I was about to gold out my TBS. Is it not good in homestead?

Then it would be a metric crap ton.

I'm down to 14m now....bought the last page of all current ore homestead motifs today. Hard times. I do wonder how some people never have any gold. Seriously farm your gear and stop buying it and stop buying gold mats. Do your writs and get them. Do some dailies and farm motifs. I make over 100k a day just from 2 dailies per toon on 7 toons. It's really not difficult nor time consuming. Too much standing at pride rock doing *** all is what's wrong.
Funny you put it like that. I wonder the exact opposite. Why do people need so much money. Prior to housing, there was nothing to spend millions on
Housing is tomorrow for me. I have nothing to buy. I have all the sets I need, hundreds of gold mats, every single motif page known to date. There is nothing to buy. There hasn't been for ages. Tomorrow I'll drop a few million fo sho. Gotta buy me a mansion and pimp my crib out yo. Honestly I haven't had anything to buy in yonks. I gave the GM 1m just for helping me a while ago. Gold is nothing to me. I'm actually glad to have a gold and AP sink. Got 5.5m AP banked up atm.

What "dailies" should I be doing exactly?

I leave out the mages guild cuz those force you to group content. it may be group content you can solo fairly easily but not everyone is that interested in the group stuff.

not necessarily. might be here in america where we dont use metric and where i half expect our scienc eto abandon it any day now as well... i expect our physics will be using furlongs per fortnight for velocity over the metric variety any day now.
:-)
Wouldn't mind seeing "outs" make a retro-comeback for distance measures though.

If I am running prosperous on all items would this help?

No. GOD no. Awful idea, prosperous gear is a complete waste of an armor slot. Better trait, kill faster and easier, you'll net more gold looted over time.
I make 500K to a mil a week pretty easily, with moderate playtime (2 to 3 hours a night). I of course do this selling what I dont need on a guild trader in one of my three trading guilds, which is hands down the fastest, easiest way to make money in the game. If you want to make money in ESO (and its one of the easiest games to make a fortune in) join at least one busy trading guild. I did some suggestions on how in a different thread: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/3826823/#Comment_3826823
But some quick info: crafting materials, if you dont use them all yourself, are by far the best sellers over time. These will make you a bundle....so skilling up at least one crafting profession for advanced harvesting is a great idea. Second, YOU CAN UPGRADE QUALITY OF DROPPED GEAR AT THE CRAFTING TABLE!! I get green gear with great traits all the time, and spending a couple thousand in mats can give you a huge profit. One example: found a green dagger in a certain dwarven ruin in a desirable trait, then spent about 2K in upgrade materials at a smithing table and put the newly epic dagger onto my busiest trader. Twenty-four hours later I opened my mail to 350K cash. A good day! If you plain cannot or will not spent the points to craft, find someone you can trust who does, and who has maxed upgrade passives, and toss them a few tempers or waxes or rosins a week to upgrade gear for you.
Anyway, it pretty much rains gold in ESO. You just need to be smart enough to grab a bucket.

Either I get the resources I need with no money and/or can sell fruits of my labor to get the item I might need. All in all, crafting bags and crafting my own stuff has saved and made me the money and items I need to sustain myself for solid endgame play.

Sell AP?

I will sell say 500k ap to someone. They will decide what they want with it. I will then go purchase said item and give it to them for gold.
