Suggestion: Character list arrangement

exactly what it says...this is a suggestion to allow us to organize our characters via up or down in the character login screen. being able to move characters accoding to what faction they are in, level, class etc...would be nice to have this as a feature in the next major update...wow has it. id see why this game cant have it...especially with the ability to buy additional character slots. this would help altaholics alot or those that just want a neat and tidy character list.

forgive me if this has been asked before but i will emphasize it here. any others wanting something similar?

Agreed. Some characters I've created later on I like to play more and always scrolling down my character list.

granted this is something id expect from a basegame patch that isnt part of any paid dlc...much like how justice system was implemented to base game. honestly cant see this anywhere else tbh. i do hope zos sees this request...apparently more than a handful want it and community base will love it if they do implement it.

bumping this old thread to emphasize the need for this QOL improvement...2 dlc later and after morowind drops and still no news on getting this...divine's sake...with 12-14 character slots this needs to happen. as a long time player of this game, it would be nice to see this feature in the next dlc base game patch.

Mods will be cross with you. Necroing threads is frowned upon around here.

As for the topic, I don’t see this as a huge pressing issue, but i definitely wouldn’t be against it.

This has come up a number of times.

From my understanding they've said in the past it's something they're aware of and would look at but no plans on when (no ETA).

I would guess the more demand they see for it the more chance it would be put on the radar of development cycles and passed to the UI team (not saying we should all spam the forums though).

as long as you can order them how you want. i like how mine are currently ordered

but i dont trust them not to screw it up like bag sorting. i really really hate how they did that one. it reorders bag differently depending on if you open it with a vendor, or the bank, or by itself and it really *** me that it will not remember how i set it.

I agree, that is driving me round the bend tbh. Zeni shouldn't presume to know what everyone wants to do with gear - having the stuff show in the same order in every UI screen is better IMO, rather than the list of items being different depending on whether you are in vendor/bank/craft station UI

Yep, I'm with you 100%. It would be nice to be able to add some structure to the login screen, and make it your own instead of the mish-mash of characters that it is now

this is the first time i actuall necrod a thread though...and for a good reason since this really needs to happen...the more ppl comment and like the idea...the greater the chance zos will not only see this thread but also making this a reality...i hate begging zos to do things but this should have been in a long time ago.

As long as we're bugging the UI team, can they make character select work with controllers on PC?

Also desperately want reordering because I have crippling ocd. I want my level cap toons on top in order from most to least played, and my other arranged by level in descending order. Anything else drives me bonkers.
