Are we just silently accepting the pair of nerfs which Soul Harvest received because Incap was op?

It received a damage decrease some patches ago, and a cost increase last patch, but Incapacitating Strike was the overpowered morph... :confused: What did Soul Harvest ever do to deserve those nerfs? :confounded:

    Incap isn't OP. Stealth damage is OP. I would argue that the stun makes it a little over the top though, but considering how easy it is to dodge/block; it didn't need a cost increase. Remove the stun, and give it something else.

    It was op before the damage nerf, and its cc still bugs you out today.

    I think they should have made the stun work like it used to instead of increasing the cost. You used to have to have lower % health than the enemy to stun them. Was really nice that way. Made you think about when to use it.

    soul harvest is only ever useful for the passive now, it is sad :(

    From patch notes 2.7.5
    With the Nightblade’s high Ultimate generation, Death Stroke is available too frequently for how powerful it is. Increasing the cost keeps its current burst potential while making Nightblades think more tactically about when to use it.
    Incap wasn't why it received the increased cost, it was the frequency both morphs could be used.

    They Nerfed the base skill instead of addressing the morphs individually . Swallow soul is not nerfed into the ground , it can be useful in certain combos but it is certainly underwhelming for anything considered an ultimate .

    I basically just use it during execute phase now.

    Agreed soul harvest should have stayed at the same ultimate cost

    Maybe they made the nerf because of soul harvests potential. I've hit people with 14k soul harvest before. While I'm against the nerf I guess they figured the damage possible with this ability was two high. Only incap really needed a nerf and all it needed was the stun removed and a slight damage decrease. This is the second time soul harvest was nerfed because of incap.

    20% base speed for high ping players.
    Streak moves you faster then speed cap.
    They should of made 4v4v4v4 instead of 8v8.

    No, he is telling the OP why ZoS said they nerfed it. You can disagree with ZOS that it was being used too frequently, but you can't make a strong argument as to why that was not their reason.

    Not without mind reading or a black box, anyway.
