Mundus Stone: Theif
Julianos is fine, as your main 5 piece.
Llambris Monster helm - from Crypt of Hearts 1 (super easy dungeon) - However due to you being new any of the following monster helms in this order will be decent (for now)
1. Llambris
2. Valk Skoria (harder to get city of ash 2 veteran)
3. Grothdar
As far as rings/neck go, you have a few choices.
1. Willpower set (easiest to get) less hassle
2. Now you'll need to look into this one, my mate uses extra damage to shock abilities set 300 shock damage is the 5 piece bonus. What you could do is get 3 of the rings/neck etc and 2 pieces on your armour (no monster helm) seeing as you probably won't have shoulders as of yet.
By equiping 2 swords (torgas pact) which can be easily crafted by almost anyone in this game and low trait these are a good option for you. We use 2 swords because it will increase your spell damage dramatically, we also use the 2nd bar as a BUFF bar if you will.
The setup (for you) should look like the below, arrange the skills how you see fit.
Bar 1. Force Pulse, Crystal Frags, Harden Ward, Bound Agies, Inner Light ( DESTRO ULTI ) or meteor if you have it.
Bar 2. Power Surge, Liquid lightning, Harden ward, Bound Agies, Thundering Precense - Energy Overload ulti.
Bar 3. Power Surge, Mages Wrath, Harden Ward, Bound Agies, Inner Light - Energy Overload.
Explaination:
You front bar is weaving, inner light will boost your crit in a huge way.
Force pulse will PROC crystal frags allowing a free cost cast and 20% more damage.
Your 2nd bar will be power surge 20% major sorcery boost then drop liquid lighting on group pulls with thundering precence active doing some solid aoe damage.
Note: By having power surge and thundering active at the same time you're also healing yourself a crazy amount, ensure these 2 are up at all times to make your life easier.
Bar 3. When you run dry you can activate Energy overload and LIGHT attack 5-10 times for magicka back, this is also you EXECUTE bar under 20% with mages wrath, doing some insane damage.
You can change this build to,
DROP harden ward bar 1. and place wall of elements (experienced players will only use 1 shield on back bar )
Or you can DROP harden ward for velicous curse more some more DOT damage.
This is what I suggest for all new sorcs and even experienced ones, as it makes a huge difference to your overall output.
Many thanks,
Luke
