This Dungeon specifically requires a lot of group coordination, the advise above of don't pug? That's #1

    What is pug?

    Edit:

It stands for pick up group?
Actually I'm ok with losing abit and trying again but what I don't like for pick up groups are that someone always drops out halfway and we stand around waiting for a replacement. :|

Alright, as has been mentioned pugs ( or Pick Up Groups) are often not coordinated enough to do very well in this dungeon. It can take a good bit of teamwork.

    Well, first questions.

What platform and server are you?

    What is your preferred roll

Yup, pug = pick up group.

Vet WGT is very definitely doable, but it requires knowledge of the mechanics and coordination. It's one that I've done with friends and guildies on voice chat (sometimes it's more of a challenge than others - depends on the whole group), but I wouldn't want to do it (or any of the DLC dungeons really) with a random PUG where the only communication is via text. The planar inhibitor in particular is a difficult fight if you're not on voice and/or if you have people in the group who just aren't willing to follow the mechanic for grabbing aggro.

Oh, and portal duty! If people don't understand portal duty vWGT can be impossible!

I always take a sec to ask everyone if they know the mechanics and explain as we go. Been farming SPC for awhile now with a ton of pugs. I'm extremely surprised we cleared it with some of these groups. Patience and communication.

We burned it in less than 20 minutes.

Typically the dlc pledges are guild only so that I can avoid the pitfall of trying with multiple groups.

The trick to the first boss is to have your lock picking leveled up. If someone doesn't have that leveled, have someone else pick the lock for them when they get put in the cage. If it's the healer that doesn't have lock picking leveled, someone should have off heals in case the healer gets caged. The tank should keep the boss faced away from the group.

For the inhibitor, it makes things a lot easier if the tank can hold the boss the whole time, only having other people take agro during blue phase. Have the tank close the pinion at the start, and then stand still with the boss while the team burns her down. The tank will not need to close the pinion again until after blue phase. When blue phase starts, the tank should kite her away, and someone else will have to take the pinion after a few seconds. Once blue phase is over, the tank can take the pinion to regain agro, and then stand still with her again. People will still need to close portals, but doing things this way makes it much faster and easier, since most pug groups don't rotate pinion duty properly.

I don't if I've done it on vet. Trying to pug the inhibitor is like herding cats. The only time I seem to get a competent pug is when I'm farming on normal.
