Another botched HelRa pug last nite LOL! As everyone dropped the craglorn pug, because they're scrubs; I stayed in and pulled players from a few guilds. Took awhile to get the team together, but hammered it out on 2nd go round at the warrior.
Here's how it happened.
The original tank.....Templar with Ebon and Meridia's blessed armor? Wtf never heard of that one? Even claimed he had max resistance. Well he folded up quick and could not hold afro. This poor guy was flustered. Said he tanks VMoL with this setup.....I call bs, but I try to be nice. I even put guard on him. So another guy has a tank.....
Another guy come in with DK no idea what he wore, but he fold up quick too. Even with his 45k health......
So I took over with good ol tried and tested DK Ebon armor master lord warden. 32k health 25k stam 16k magic. By this time one healer went AFK and the other one was using BoL wtf? 2 tries and everyone drops but me and the AFK dude.
I needed to get players in so I couldn't be picky. 4 of my DPS were just not good. 1 was CP 200. 2H Crit rush, wrecking blow. It was comical to watch them rush the boss and fold up next to me. 4 of my DPS were likely pulling 30k DPS combined......
Barely got by the DPS check.which I was grateful we made it there. Finished the boss then split up loot.
Here's where I have a big problem. One of these tools gets gold infal ring and tries to sell it to another player for 50k. Like really? Not a sharp staff or something. Just a ring.
I gave away the gold VO neck I got, that I could have used on another toon, just because I already have one on other toon. All this stuff will become bound after a short while, I don't see how any of it can suddenly become worth a small fortune. Especially in a thrown together group like this. Scrubs should be ashamed of their behavior.
This Pug life is killing me.

✭✭#1 thing to do as a tank: Don't Die. #2 thing to do as a tank: hold Afro aggro

It's just my story from last nite. Pug hard content that ends badly 9 out of 10 times. Learn some things about different builds. Managed to pull it off somehow and then people act poorly to one an other. -
There is no scope for discussion. In short, a team failed to finish a trial, he pulled in other players and done it. He didn't save anything really. And something about selling jewellery.

Dude not too sound an ***, but if i see a cp 200 in a vet trial group, i leave, and if i make the group myself i would request only cp capped players, this is a vet trial, the hardest pve content in the game, no space for non optimized setups or low cp players, but i am willing to overlook that if you provide me evidence that you're a good player. -

✭✭Man you guys are salty this morning. Every time I pug something it's a crapshoot how it will turn out. The bad ones stick out more than good. Someone usually goes AFK. Half the teams DC. You find out the hard way certain builds won't work for whatever reason. It's FUN though!
Say what you want about vendoring gold jewelry. There's always someone looking for something. Greed shouldn't get in the way IMO. Lower level players jump at the opportunity to run this stuff. I never talk crap to them. I'm usually just looking for anyone. -

The original group wouldn't have been scrubs if they would have hung around. We just needed to replace the AFK healer and the non functional tank. We were there for maybe 45 minutes. But people were complaining it was too long....
I won't include the time it took to put a group together as I see that really doesn't count.
