Personally I think I'm going with a hybrid tank. Seems to me that with 1h/sh on one bar and frost staff on the other, points split between magicka and stamina, and 7 heavy armor, you have the most versatility with class skills and you can block with both resources.

The kind that doesn't get invited to trials because the perception is that pets steal buffs and are impossible to control (that last is reality, not perception. Based on sorc pets.)

I need to see the class skills and passives first. I know I don't want a pure DPS really. I either want Tank, heal, or a more tanky DPS. If hybrid is somehow made well to work with Warden, that would definitely be a way to go for something different.

I intend to make one big, hairy, drunk furclad nord mountain man carrying a large axe and swinging it with vigor while growling curses at all the milk-drinkers... and a petite bosmer treehugger girl with long hair and a friendly expression who wouldn't lift a nasty metal weapon with her dainty hands, but be all too happy to call the wrath of nature down on anyone who vexes her...

I'm gonna make one like off the trailer.. 2-handed fighter who whips out the ice-magic to save his mates - and a Bear that just kills everything it looks at - and then more ice-magic to destroy every single thing in the area.

Cos that's what they're selling, right?

I really wanted to go with a 2h warden, but unless you focus entirely on stamina it won't be worthwhile. Hybrid dps just doesn't work, and ultimately I'd rather be able to use all of the new class abilities.

We will never and should never have stamina healers. It would make 0 sense.

Anyways, I have always wanted a dps that just so happened to be able to heal using DPS. My 2nd favorite mmo class of all time is the chloromancer from rift (1st being balance druids from WoW and 3rd being frost mages)

Chloromancers are the epitome of dpsing while healing and supporting.

I played a resto/feral hybrid druid for 4 years in wow, loved that character. Was nearly impossible to kill, though damage output was pretty low too. I'm hoping to recreate that kind of character with my warden, tanky and capable of some healing.

And using invisible mystical powers to miraculously heal deadly wounds does make sense? Lets face It - it's all just make-believe.. the dev's could put anything they want in - all they need is some kind of vaguely credible background to it..

How about a healer who draws the wounds into himself(injuring himself by doing so) and his stamina determines how much he can do this? With stamina-based self healing/regeneration to quickly recover from it? Or maybe a healer who uses physical abilities to heal.. like bandages/pain-killers and physical techniques like pressure on the wound, CPR etc.. In first-aid training they say you should do CPR 'until exhausted'.. there's a stamina thing right there..

A magicka and stamina DDs ('cause having big deepz is my job).

Mostly for science and analysis of stats and possible group synergies, with a touch of non-vet PvP for the sake of it.

And maybe an extra depending on what we get.

Well, I don't know about "bodily willpower", but I know about the "fluffy power of the meowing thingy" and skooma. You should try those.

That first idea sounds like a perfect fit in a blood magic tred, maybe for a necromancer class. Would be interesting to have a character that uses his health pool to heal others, and then recovers via stamina.

So you'd use ability a on an ally, let's call it transfer pain. The target is healed for x health, and you lose x health as the cost.

Then you use ability b, let's call it self regeneration, which uses your stamina to restore your health pool.

Tell that to someone a year ago. The balance changes constantly, and I am sure whatever your build is, even if you are throwing mudballs at trial bosses, you will do more DPS than a magblade.
