How to make housing immediately less grindy: More furniture at vendors.

The first problem I got my free inn room, is that I didn't have anything to fill it with. I'm convinced this is the same issue everyone stumbled upon.

When the quest objective asked me to look for furniture, I started to basically talk to every vendor NPC, trying to discover the system on my own. I found some Recipes shortly aftewards, but... Bowl. Crate. Stool. That's it.

In my opinion, there should be WAY more to start with. It should be basic, crude looking, and honestly it can be as ugly as you want, Zenimax, but you have to give us something to start decorating with. At the very least to make our inn room look like an inn room. The reason why it's free, after all, is because it's meant to be a tutorial.

Here's what I think should be offered from the start, from vendors like Woodworkers and Blacksmiths. Whether they are available as Recipes or ready items, I suppose that's up to the developer.

Chair
Bed
Desk
Candle

That's it. I don't think that's an unreasonable demand. And I think it would greatly improve the starting experience.
What do you guys think?

I agree, we just need something basic to fill out that free room we get. Anyone can get that room even if they have 0 crafts so they should be able to buy enough basic things just to fill that tiny room.

I agree also. The offerings at vendors is poor. Poor quality, small selection, and most of them carry the same stuff. A bare minimum of basic furniture options should be there at least.

Also, I won't be buying any of the achievement items due to the insane cost of them.
