Gold, Tel Var, AP

It is cool that characters can share gold and tel var. The next patch needs to allow characters share AP.

It's s probable that AP is not bankable, hence shareable, because earning AP currency is directly related to earning AP for leveling in AvA. Tel var and good have no ties ties to anything in the same manner.

They have a specialty trader in Cyrodiil that can be paid in AP. It would make send to me that the sharing of AP between characters would make sense.

The issue is that sometimes you do have enough AP to buy something, but that AP split in half among 2 characters, forcing you to grind for more.

The amount of ap earned entitles your cyrodiil rank, but has nothing to do with spending it. My rank is like major or something but I have very small amount of AP due to spending it. Why should I not be able to deposit my ap and combine it on one character to afford the gold items for sale in cyrodiil once a week? I earned the ap, therefore it is mine to spend, same as gold and telvar. Without a logical reason as to why it can't be deposited and combined, it makes 0 sense to me.

It's probably mostly lazy coding. The game wouldn't be able to tell the difference between obtaining the ap from cyrodiil activities and withdrawing from a bank.

That's obviously not true as, when spending AP, it doesn't think you're losing it from your rank progression.

I agree. You can keep ranks character based, and still allow the pooling of currency.

I like to play different characters once in a while, but not being able to share AP points makes it much less desirable to switch it up once in a while.

The other issue is that some items aren't usable by lower level characters ... when obtained by an end game character. A good example is a Coldharbour Fire Ballista ...

Oh come on. Nothing cost enough ap to where it really matters. Ap is extremely easy to get as it is.
