Deposit gold into the guild bank and poof it's gone ?

Has this happened to anyone one else?
Have you deposited gold into a guild bank and it doesn't show in the history and your sure you didn't make a mistake .... ie you checked your other guild banks and personal banks

    Have you deposited gold into a guild bank and it doesn't show in the history and your sure you didn't make a mistake .... ie you checked your other guild banks and personal banks

    It's an old and known issue which lazy ZOS still didn't fix to this day. Go to Support section, open a ticket and describe your problem there. Might take one-two weeks before they reply, they'll check logs and then I'm pretty sure they'll refund you the gold you lost. It also happened to me before and they restored it back.

    It's happened to me before, lost 200k. I always withdraw and deposit 50k at a time now just in case it happens. It's pretty rare, but can happen sometimes.

    9 times out of 10 ZOS won't refund the gold anyway.

    At least they didn't in my case after sending quite a lot of back and forth tickets.

    Or maybe 9 times out of 10 they do refund it and they were just in a bad mood when I contacted them about it :D

    Never happened to me. But I also must admit. I rarely deposit stuff. I'm to broke to do so. At times I believe I am a bad guild member in not depositing. However I not once got kicked out of a guild. Also sorry that this old bug is back.

    It's not just gold. It's items too. Potent and Fortified Nirn, gone. Psijic Ambrosia, gone. Gold, gone. This has happened multiple times in one day.

    This happened to me today when I deposited gold in to guild bank. I submitted a ticket. A tip to prevent this issue. Wait a few seconds before attempting the deposit. One person deposited 1 gold. He verified the deposit then followed by depositing XXX,000 to his guild.

    Yup. Couple days ago deposited 40k into guild bank. Didn't show up in the history and now I'm out 40k. No use in reporting it. You won't get it back.

    Made a post about this. Support will mail you what you lost as long as they see the inconsistencies between your gold on hand and the bank that caused it.

    Yes you will. I've contacted them for lost items/gold before.

    It happened to me once, I raised a support ticket and the money was returned to me by Zenimax within an hour.

    So if it has happened to you, raise a support ticket - they can access logs of your transactions beyond what you can see in game, and if your cash has been swallowed by a glitch, they will get it back to you, probably very quickly.

    And yes you will get it back if it was a glitch and you raise a support ticket. When it happened to me they just put the money back on the character I was logged in on when they dealt with it, about an hour after I contacted support.

    The one thing I can guarantee is that you won't get it back if you don't put in a support ticket.

    I've had this happen twice. In both instances I opened a support ticket, detailed the issue (what guild, what time, how much gold, etc.), and within a couple of days the character who did the deposit had a refund in his/her inventory. Relatively painless experience, really, though tedious/frustrating because it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

    Now, however, I make a point to wait a little while after opening the bank tab to make sure the inventory populates before doing a deposit - and then I check the guild deposit history before calling it a success. Extra steps for me, but better safe than sorry.

    did you not mistakenly put it to the guild bank, not to your own bank?

    that has happened to me few times :smiley:
