The attributes in ESO needs an overhaul. The problem right now with the current attributes is that you can not play how you want, but instead you are locked into a specific type of playstyle (stamina or magicka). It's not very effective to use both stamina and magicka in your builds, as if you focus on stamina and use a magicka abillity it will be much less effective, and if you specc half stmina and half magicka you will lose alot of effectiveness of both those abillity types.I have a fix for this problem which is very simple! and on top of that you will have much more variety in your builds, and alot more fun playing the game.
- Health (increases the total health of your character)
- Power (Increases the damage you do with attacks and abillities)
- Stamina (Increases the total stamina of your character)
- Magicka (increases the total magicka of your character)
Stamina and magicka does not increase the damage of their type.
So by removing the additional damage you get from magicka and stamina and adding the power attribute, you can now use both magicka and stamina abillities without sacrificing damage. When you specc into stamina or magicka you now only increase the total amount of that resource, which means that you can only do an amount of that specific abillity type before you run out of that resource. So if your build uses mostly magicka you will want to specc more in magicka and less in stamina. This will also open up new builds for all characters and will not limit anyone from doing what they want. This is how an Elder Scrolls game should be.
