Vvardenfell character select background [Poll]

Hello, with Morrowind on the horizon offering a new starting experience, I think it would be fitting that we could change the background on the character select screen to match this. Maybe a scene of red mountain, a Telvanni mushroom tower, or even a shot of the city of Vivec. I made this a poll in hopes of getting a rough estimate of how many would like this.

I like this idea. I'm very excited about the release of Morrowind however I'm suspicious of what we will get; I believe in the live reveal they mentioned some 30 odd hours of gameplay for this new release and for some reason I was under the impression this was also the same for Orsinium (can someone verify this?). I'd like to see a lot of great content and as an expansion I expect that. So as it stands little niceties like the back drop for character select are lower priorities to the meat and potatoes of the actual release.

There is always a lot of hype leading up to WoW expansions about what the new character select screen will be, I would love that in ESO!

Character select screen is based off faction and should remain as is.

This worries me a little. I understand they want to keep the world as open as possible, but I don't want to be able to side with everyone at the same time even if lore-wise the options should be mutually exclusive. It would water down the experience. I hope they wrote it in a way that makes sense.

On topic: I'd like a new Vvardenfell background for characters who don't go through the standard tutorial and start in the new zone instead. Everyone else should keep the old backgrounds.

I interpreted it more as that they will not lock the content depending on the House you choose. I could be wrong, but that is just how I saw it.

this would be awesome, i have allways dreaded and disliked the snowy skyrim look of that screen background.
i am into morrowind, not skyrim.

I keep wanting the backgrounds to be racial and not factional. So... the current EP background should be for nords, Dunmer should rightfully have a Morrowind-ish background, while argoniansd would rather get something black marshy, and so on...

The faction standard is enough for faction loyalty I would think...

I'd only want it based on faction and unless that's going away....which i would welcome (other thread explains why/how) I have to vote no

There are many other ideas I'm open to but the faction is important and I don't PvP but it literally determines a lot for different players.

Not only Vvardenfell. Each zone should have its own background and characters should be displayed on it.
Or, at least, each race should have it's own background.
I'm tired of Dunmers on snowy Bleackrock.

You aren't losing your faction, it would just allow my Dunmer to not stand in the docks of Windhelm :P

You still start in Cold Harbor, you will have the option to just wake up in Vvardenfell instead.

Like I talked about in a previous post Vanilla content needs a touch up, Especially Cold Harbor. That realm feels very bland and generic for a place that is made by the father of vampires.
There is unique architecture, but the textures and the blue lit water are just...meh

it should just be the bedroom background view inside of one of your homes you purchased.
would seem easier to do and a bit more realistic.

I would love to have a background for each zone so it matched the zone you were in when you logged out but maybe too much to ask for.
