Warden Pet Question again....

I have seen a few threads talking about this but not directly getting an answer from ZoS. Can bear be named? Also, is the summon ability a magic ability, or is it like a whistle like your mount is, or similar?

I dont think you can name it. And the bear is an ultimate ability

the summon is Ultimate ability, they said on twitch yesterday, that you can buff it, you can heal it, you can even use wayshrine with it and it will teleport with you, it stays summoned, until it dies, then needs to be re-summoned

You can give it an unofficial name if you want but I don't think you can type in a name like you would with a mount or non-combat pet. It is an ult like altemriel said so you can't call it unless your ult is available but there is a morph that will allow it to automatically rez itself when the ult is back up.

How does that work with generating ult then? Like once you've summoned the bear can you regen ult and cast a different ult when the summon is up? Or is it like sorc pets and need to be double bar'd so would be the only ult you could use?

I wish we had a list of abilitys and passives to get a better idea of what it's about

I have no idea but my guess would be that your ultimate will not charge for as long as the bear is up and once it dies you will start charging it up again to be able to use, otherwise there would be no cooldown on it, unless they want to release it like that for everyone to buy expansions because that screams OP

I just assume it would work similar to the sorc's overload ult

Will the pet have any actual commands? Like follow me, do not attack unless I am attacked, etc?

Or will it use the same almost-braindead AI the sorc pets do?
