It's basically all buffs with with 2 below average damaging skills.
Got that fist thing and that ash cloud one.
The shield explodes and deals damage but not enough and it's DoT.
When i think of Earth magic I think of straight up throwing boulders at you, like that fist skill but even that skill is weak.

iseko✭✭✭✭Earth thing is not that bad... Seen that thing hit for 10k in azura. It is a poor mans crystal frag. Thing is that a DK needs 20 skills and only has 10 slots.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭Earthen heart is OP for their passives not for their skills. Event though fossilize isreally good in PvP, and the shield is also really really good.0 -
AlwaysOnFire✭✭✭✭Molten armaments is awesome and also buffs your party members.
Don't underestimate Eruption and Cinder Storm. They can be combined with Wall of Elements to ensure that mobs can't escape. Not every skill's utility can be summed up with numbers.1 -
Jciampi✭✭✭Yeah molten weapons morphed to igneous weapons is boss. 20% damage boost to your party physical and magic damage. This skill tree is best cause of passives like was said. The get 5% stamina back when using earthen heart ability is clutch. As is the gain ultimate.0 -

Stania✭✭✭✭✭I'm not a PvP-er but in solo PvE Eruption is very nice to deal with no-flying mobs, it makes a nice combo with endless hail and dark talons. Usually, I use stone giant or shattering rocks to prevent sorcerers from healing their partners and disable archers while I deal with melee enemies.
But the best thing about Earthen Heart, as others said here, is the passives. I think Earthen Heart is meant to be merely a support not a damage dealer (that's what Ardent Flame is for).PC NA server

Zvorgin✭✭✭✭✭Igneous Shield is a powerhouse, major mending, damage shield and 5% stamina regain! No idea how anyone can complain about Earthen Heart line.
Magicka regen plus spam igneous shield = infinite block for a tank.0
