Suggestion: Add Major Evasion to Hardened Armor

The 2.5 second damage shield on activation is pretty underwhelming even for niche PvE tank builds. Adding Major Evasion for the duration would continue the theme of Hardened being the "defensive" morph and would open up a TON of build options for Magicka DKs who want to use Tava's as their sustain set in PvP.

Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

I strongly disagree, mostly based on my hatred of free (mostly) dodge chance. If DKs get major evasion back, I think it should be like the original iteration: it's gained when you're standing inside your own cinder storm. It's a buff that matches the original design and vision of DKs, and while they obviously trashed all care for that stuff starting with 1.6, I think it's the most appropriate way for DKs to get that buff, if at all.

I main a DK Tank and this I simply cannot support . It already gives 12% healing taken . My vote is no .

Although , I support changing that small shield to something a bit more useful .

I agree with evasion should go back to cinderstorm if we actually get it back. How about something like block cost reduction or the next block is free? Just like the s&b ult for just one hit. Would add some real utility and improve tank sustain a bit.

Considering how Rune Focus works for templar we know it'd be possible for them to apply a buff to a character based on standing in a location so this is doable.

Yeah, the small shield is pretty much 100% useless lol.

As a stam and mag DK player, I am against this. I don't care for RNG anyway, which evasion is.

I think a better change would be to make it so whenever you get attacked the attacker gets set on fire for a short period, instead of just instant damage you get a dot too.

I agree with OP. Also, can you have hardened ward heal for full damage when someone hits the bubble. So for every point of damage done to the bubble it should heal you and add a point of mana.

    Thank You

Templar receives the extra healing plus 8% damage reduction along with the armor buff but is tethered to the circle on the ground.

The lack of mobility seems to keep it balanced compared to the DK buff. I think the DK buff is fine as it is.

This would skew the balance between tank classes substantially. I do not support this concept at all.

Allow me to clarify for you:

"Yeah, the small shield is pretty much 100% useless in pvp. There are unique, extraordinary circumstances where stacking minor shields at specific intervals affords DKs noticeably higher survivability in a competitive trials setting."

You might think that a 1-2k shield in pvp is useless, and in 99.9% of scenarios you are correct. In pve it is larger, and can be buffed without giving up utility or surivability, and this is a luxury no other class can afford. Don't take this the wrong way. It's just that people very frequently ignore other content in their "verdicts" about skills. It's important to remember that exploring every content type when questioning skills is important, else we end up gutting a class or a skill b/c of pvp whining, which is a favorite past-time of ZOS given their track record.
