Marksman Set 8% vs Players - Question

It says it increase your bow abilities by 8% Vs players, does this include heavy and light bow attacks or only skills from the bow line, because that makes a huge difference?

Wondering if anybody knows, as these things can be ambiguous.

Thanks in Advance

Abilities mean abilities I think but, dunno, I'm not pro ;)

Afaik, it does increase both abilities and heavy/light attacks. Doesn't show it in tooltips, so you need AUI or something to see exact damage done.

the annoying thing here is that this set just proves ZOS can make things that affect players only...so why won't they just make sets that affect NPC's only (yes this does mean proc sets, which basically solves the whole problem with those in PvP)

or why not make this a pus 8% against NPC's and players, so it might make Bow a more viable choice in PvE (combine that with Hawk or something like that and you might just have decent damage)

Not only sets, but skills that work differently on mobs and players. Just see how NB's ambush works on mobs - its guaranteed stun. On players, stun component is not present. That showed us any skill could be tweaked to work slightly different in PvP, making PvE vs PvP nerfrage treads absolete. But lazy design is lazy...

Personally think the bow skil line needs a complete rework.
That set is just not enough in today's heavy armour mets with 35k plus health.

I use this set in PvP and yes it works on light/ hvy attacks, but only on players, not PvE NPC's.
