Had a healer last night who said if we weren't happy with what he was doing (after wipe number 3 of the first boss - normal ROM), he could always leave. We said it was fine by us if he left, so he did... very obliging of him.

Funny enough we didn't wipe a 4th time.....

I often run with group finder when farming for gear. I was running coa1, run number 50 ish.. i got a number of pieces i did not need and offered them to the other members. They asked what i needed. I said the impossible BSW sharp inferno

I thanked them for the run and we disbanded. 5 minutes later i got a pm asking was this the staff i wad looking for with a link to the unicorn..BSW sharp inferno..

They offered it to me asking for nothing in return. Needless to say i met and took carriage of my precious, gave them 50k , friended them and advised if they needed anything give a yell.

Pug and GF can be bad. But things like that make me love this game and its community NA PC.

awwwwww, how wonderful...you all make me want to - get out there and farm some bsw, worm or ebon...

maybe there's someone out there ready to do something nice for me - I'd take a precise bsw inferno staff and be thankful

It is very rare that a high CP player will ask for something in return when they are about to give you an item from a 4 man dungeon. However, in trials people tend to get greedy, unfortunately

Then you're doing trials with the wrong people. In my (admittedly not very extensive) experience in trials people are happy to help each other out when someone is looking for particular items.

Not saying that I agree with it, but there is usually a precedence set by the people looking for items (talking PUGs here).

They offer gold because there are often more than one person looking for the same set. Trying to "outbid" each other incentives the person giving away the item to give it to them.

Actually i pretty much made someones day the other night when i got into a group that was farming fungal grotto. He was hurting for viper jewelry, which i had been picking up like crazy. After giving him two rings he said in chat we was gonna cry, lol. Hope the person doesnt use it to become a ganker in cyrodiil, but it felt kinda nice nonetheless.

Well, I've only ever done trials with guildies who generally all know each other pretty well - never a PUG. So that'd be the difference there. To be honest, I wouldn't ever want to do a trial with a PUG. The majority of the reason I've done any trials is because I have fun running with those people...

Yesterday evening I gave a brand new player ten (10) jute after a few calls for help in zone chat. He wanted to trade some iron for the jute ... but I said "Don't worry about it."

My graciousness must have left an impression.

Said new player, in a thank you mail which was genuine, attached a brand new shield (white with ornate trait) ... one of the spoils of his very limited travels thus far in Tamriel.
