M'aiq the Liar, and his little quips

This thread is meant as a service to those who are unfamiliar with the lovely NPC, M'aiq the Liar.
M'aiq is a khajiit wanderer present in all Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind. He is the developer's way of joking with their own content, offering retorts to critisim, or simply making a quip about game mechanics. In Skyrim he could occasionally say "M'aiq is always in search of calipers, yet finds none. Where could they have gone?" - which is a reference to his strange behaviour in the former TES game; Oblivion, in which he would spend five hours a day searching for the useless clutter item, calipers.
I have taken the liberty of selecting a few of my favourite quotes of his, and adding a comment. In ESO, however, M'aiq sadly seems to mostly reference in-game zone and dungeons. So this thread is also asking a little of the developers: "We can all admit ESO has had a few rough patches, mostly fixed nowadays with awesome updates like One Tamriel, but maybe it would be good for us all to have M'aiq make a few quips about all the complaints? Something-something AOE caps..."
"Some enjoy bringing grief to others. They remind M'aiq of mudcrabs—horrible creatures, with no redeeming qualities."
- Probably scolding "griefers", players who actively try to ruin the game experience for others. And also a recurring quip since Skyrim, because people complained of how very, very, very often NPCs in Oblivion would talk about mudcrabs, when they bumbed into one another on the street.
"M'aiq wonders why merchants boast of spacious bags, but never how much weight they carry."
- A reference to how ESO is the first elder scrolls game to use Number of Item stacks, rather than weight of collected items to limit inventory space. (in previous games, you might carry a hundred sweet rolls, but only two, much heavier, war hammers, etc.)
"M'aiq tried to swim out to sea, but had to turn back. Slaughterfish. Always the slaughterfish."
- Haven't we all tried it?
"When M'aiq enters a new place, he pictures it within himself and meditates for a short time."
- Likely a reference to everyone's favourite game feature; Loading Screens.
(You can look for him yourself; he can be found in any non-PVP, non-DLC zone outside of Stros M'Kai and Bleakrock (""M'aiq wonders, who wants to live on a bleak rock? Why not a pleasant rock?""))

I think it is central to ESO's well-being to critique the developers when they change the game (or fail to change something).
But the negativity can be exhausting, so I vow to post 50/50 negativity and appreciation.
