Arcane Well vs Last Stand vs Unchained - enough with the Stam/Mag disparity, ZOS
I really can't stand when ZOS designs a general buff or perk that works for one resource group, then no equivalent for the other. Example: witches festival offered some really good purple recipes for magic toons, then when new life came around the stam recipes were way weaker. Why?? Whhhhhhhyyyyyyy?
In the CP system, magic toons get arcane well. This is a massive perk - a 20% chance on kill to restore 1358 magic to three allies. This is part of the reason magic resources are so dang limitless, particularly in 4p pve. My stamina guys would LOVE a useful buff for spending 120 in a line. What do we get?
1. Last Stand: this is the equivalent to Arcane Well. It restores 18 ultimate when you fall below 20% health. This is freaking stupid. It only rewards me for being a poor player, and the reward is the equivalent ultimate of like three heavy attacks.
2. Unchained: we might argue that this is the actual counterpart to arcane, since last Stand sucks so hard. Reducing the stam cost by 80% for 3 seconds after breaking free. Ok...not horrible. It still requires me to play weaker to take advantage of...and unlike arcane well I have to actually think to take advantage of it. But now they're nerfing it?
My suggestion: nix last Stand and give stam users some sort of resource restore perk that is at least a little equivalent to arcane well.
