Wouldn't really work since it's a part of a class skill line and that specific skill line has a purple color scheme.
I do wish the opposing alliance negate looked a little different though, sometimes you don't know who's negate you're standing inside since one Negate morph offers healing...

Siege barrier should come in Alliance colors though :)

Dk has it with standard ult.

It wouldn't work solely because the animation color is purple which matches the skill line??

Looks like you support the change (as do I) ... but that's not a strong reason to be opposed to it.

I would just settle for them to be visible, sometimes in lag you find out you were standing in a negate only when you can no longer cast. At that point it is usually too late

Every skill line has a specific color scheme. From a creative perspective those are just rules. I'm sure Zeni has certain creative guidelines and rules to follow.

Just like when you think about tanking and blocking, Ice Staves are the first thing that comes to mind. Surely not a sword and shield.

Now i don't play DK's. But looking at Deltias guide on Dragonknight skills they have a specific color scheme to them. I don't see any green, unless you're talking about "Green Dragon Blood". http://deltiasgaming.com/2014/06/30/eso-dragonknight-skill-guide-2/

As for Negate, they wouldn't change the color of it. It has to be purple bubble. It's part of that skill line tree. They could though change the ground visuals to indicate a certain alliance.

While I'm sure ZoS has creative and thematic guidelines to follow, these should always take a step back to functionality. I think the mechanics of negate is more important than it looking like the other purple sorc skills. I think a change should be made to make negates easier to see and distinguish. If not alliance colored as OP suggested, perhaps put a filled in green circle or red circle for good and bad negates. So not just an outline of a red circle like is currently present, but a solid red circle representing the area of the negate.

The stam morphs are green and do poison damage. It was changed early last year.

Yes i totally support that idea. I think they could just change the ground visual effects but not the bubble itself.

The point is ZOS changed there established color scheme for skills already. It really isn't an issue.

How about a number of quick running lightning streaks from the top of the negate dome to the bottom in the color of the faction who cast it. These would not be constant as to impair vision, but pulse quickly down the sides. Maybe 4 or so streaks would be enough. I think that'd be perfect, but we all know ZoS will not do anything about it.
