Stamplar Update 13 PvP build theory-crafting

With the upcoming buffs to Stamplar in Update 13, I wanted to start thinking about potential builds. I'm relatively new to playing Stamina in PvP, but have been playing the game since console launch and would appreciate suggestions/changes.

That being said, here's what I'm thinking for a decent gear setup:

Draugr Hulk: 3x jewlrey 2x body (med)
Clever alchemist: 2x dual wield 3x body(heavy) 1x 2hd axe
Velidreth:1x Head (heavy) 1x shoulder (heavy)
OR
Kena: 1x head (heavy)
BloodSpawn: 1x shoulder (heavy)
All impen

Race: Redguard for obvious sustain reasons
Food: Max health stam recovery
Mundus:Thief

Bar 1- Dual Wield
Quick cloak, ritual of retribution, biting jabs, resolving vigor, binding javelin Ulti: werewolf (for stam regen only)

Bar 2- 2 handed axe
Rally, Crit rush, reverse slash, dizzy swing, power of the light Ulti: DBoS or Cresent sweep

As I said I don't have a whole lot of experience with playing stamina characters in PvP and would appreciate feedback and suggestions/changes.

    Why dual wield ?
I use 2 hand and bow 1 for range and 2 for major expedition

Dual wield for the extra weapon damage for jabs plus allows me to run clever alchemist, draugr, and another 2 piece like velidreth

Why both dizzying and javelin? Both are knockbacks/stuns. And why ritual of ret instead of extended for the extra (needed) cleansing

    edit: Longtime stamplar main

Guessing javelin for a ranged attack and good question on the ritual I use the retribution on my Magplar but use the extended for my stamplar

Good point, I thought ritual of ret because it's kinda anti-stealth but extended might be better. Dizzying for the damage and knock back and the javelin for range. Might be pointless to run both I guess. Never used stamplar before.

I would keep javelin just so you have some ranged attack , that's why I chose ritual of retribution because of the stealth part

Maybe I should put repentance on front bar instead of javelin, and put javelin on back bar instead of swing?

Currently when I run DW on my stamplar I run the following:

    5x BR Impen
    1x kena impen medium
    1x Kragh impen medium
    3x agility jewelry robust/WD
1x defending 2h sword (maelstorm greatsword defending would be BIS for this particular setup) backbar
2x sharp lekis on DW (mace and dagger, HOWEVER masters or maelstorm would be better. CBA to farm these)

Edit: self buffed stats end up being around 38k Stamina, 25k health, 14k Magic (tri stat), around 4k WD with 50% crit, 25k spell res 24k phys res (with rune up), 7-9k penetration depending on CP allocation (+10% penetration DW passive for 1h mace), 840 recovery (relying on black rose, heavy attack weaves, and redguard passives for sustain). EVEN WITH BR/REDGUARD/HEAVY ATTACK WEAVE it can be tough to keep resources up. Gotta be very careful and utilize unchained. Since BR is taking a 5% nerf and heavy attacks are returning 25% less next patch, gonna have to adjust the build to make up for the lost sustain.

2h backbar: shuffle, rally, repent, extended, rune focus, DBOS or Crescent
DW mainbar: Trap beast OR javelin, vigor, jabs, blood craze, quick cloak, DBOS

Works great in PVP, tons of jab damage against targets without a damage shield. The idea of this build is more so in line with the "defend your house" idea that ZOS wants for stamplars. You line of sight one or multiple targets, drop your rune and ritual/reapply shuffle, then switch to your front bar to apply your dots/cloak/jab away. In the next patch I will be adjusting this build and probably will run sword n board backbar and DW frontbar, using either a set or potions for brutality.

Medium with full allocation into damage. Jabs will hurt.

Peeps miss alot of damage due to it being dodged 50% of the time.

    Soon bois, soon.

It isn't OP at all, just really solid, agreed. I think troll king is a natural response to the burst meta. It allows you a chance to recover from someone's burst, even if heal debuffed. Bloodspawn speaks for itself as well. You give up a lot to run either of these sets, either the penetration from kra'gh(best 1 piece in the game) or a 2 pc damage proc.

I think its a hard decision to make, but I think if you're running alchemist and draugr you'll be able to have enough damage, with animation canceling, that you should really grab some tankiness from one of these two sets or malubeth(haven't tested if its worth using on pts yet tho)

    5x Fury

Are you guys using medium? Im using a woodelf and have regen around 2400 with food where it doesn't sound like you guys are using as much. I do dodge roll and sprint a lot.

I'm debating heavy armor, but I do like to use the roll with bow, sprint and then sneak to escape. LOL I suppose its still posible and maybe I'd have to rely on it less having a bit more armor.
