Items being removed from the Crown Store?

I went to the crown store today and say that there is a few more crown store items that has 'Time Left'. Will there be any official news (or possible to get a reference on where they say this?) on these items being 'removed'? Many thanks!

It's been a common practice since the store was introduced.

Usually the items being removed will cause an email or something when times close to out but otherwise you'll just see the crown store reference as a lot of feedback told ZOS ppl don't like a lot of notifications.

Im not talking about the pop up notification in game. Actually items being removed is usually laid out in the crown store news. We finally received information that it is oversight on their end for not including the items being removed in the last crown store news.

Good we got confirmation on the other thread.

They normally announce things being removed from the crown store, but there was an oversight this time. It is in the Dev Tracker.

Yeah its silly, since virtual items do not actually take space. But its a marketing practice: if you do not get it now, you can get it later on the crown crates, where you will spend some cash gambling and praying for rngesus to get it. My advice: just buy the things that you think you will use!

Better still, the Studio shouldn't remove items from the Crown Store and shouldn't pursue the limited time availability option.

    I feel a rant coming...

It is very possible that people may change their mind about what they want to buy as they play through the game, and then be disappointed that said item is no longer available. In addition, newer players to the game find that there is a bunch of stuff they can never have. I find this practice abhorrent (polite version). People have lives outside of ESO with demands and pressures on their time and money. It may not be possible, practical or feasible to buy that costume or that hairstyle or whatever in such a narrow window. So, who are these wonderful marketing people creating a market for? Not all of us.

As much as I adore this game and the incredible world I get to be part of, the whole 'marketing' approach to the Crown Store is a huge disappointment.
