Destruction Staff Morph Questions

Not looking for absolute min/max, but respectable numbers and reasoning.

Many people tell me to use force pulse for more damage, but every time I go into more serious trials there's always someone calling out to anyone with crushing shock for the interrupt.

I've tried using destructive clench for my master staff bonus, but it really doesn't seem to work as good. Is the master staff interno not very good or something? Just a shame.

Does unstable wall do enough extra damage to take it over the bigger blockade?

Is pulsar worth using? It always says target immune on whatever I want it to work on seems. Likewise, is elemental ring worth using?

On my Sorc, I lay down blockade, liquid lightning and fry most things, but many things are completely situational in this game.

    Force Pulse does generally more damage so i say for PvE it is in 95% of the situations better. The missing 5% are things like soloing exarch arnoth where interrupts are needed though are some other options (bash, toppling charge,...) which i would prefer over crushing shock. For PvP: let's say: Utility wins: It means interupting people from a range of 28 meters is quite decent (jesus beam, dark deal, dark flare,...).

    The idea of using DoT's is that this abilities have for it takes to cast a higher damage potential than the main spammable.
    So basically you take the DoT's with the highest Dps in the order of their damage potential and place them on your bar. the thing is: bar space is finite. So there are other Dot's and abilities with higher Damage potential (for example sorc: velicious curse, Blockade, Liquid Lightning, cristal frags, Inner light, bound aegis) which i pefer for named reason over it. Master staff doesn't change much on that situation.
    The great thing about this ability is that it deals damage and CC's, that the reason why i use it sometimes.

    Unstable Wall can have a higher damage potential if correctly used: two reasons:
    1. If your rotation includes refreshing it every 6-7 seconds you end up with more dmg/sec
    2. Unstable wall has 3 segments each exploding separately: enemies may take damage from all three of them.
    Reasons for Blockade:
    1. It's easier to have enemies standing in it.
    2. the rotation is simpler.

    Pulsar is worth using someone should use it. Bosses can't be afflicted with Minor Mangle but most other things. It's probably not the skill i will use solo but in a group it will help clear trash.
    Elemental ring in it's current state: No, it is unlikely, that the Dot component does more than 10% of your overall damage in any AoE fight. However in the next update it becomes a ranged spammable so yeah then it has its application, though lightningstaff user will probably not use it since they have another AoE Spammable that deals more damage.
