many many times i have found eso scripts running on computer after close of game.

this has something to do with when you close game, sometimes its not closing the script. this needs fixed.

Yep, same here. After I logout of the game my icon bar shows anywhere from 2-3 ESO icons still running. If I mouse over them they go away

Word on the street, those scripts are reading your forum post and web searches and programming the RNG to make sure you never get the weapon/trait you desire.

Yeah I get that too. I thought maybe they weren't really running since they disappear when i mouse over them.

To get around this bug that has existed from day one, I found the folder with eso.exe and eso64.exe:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client

When in the client folder either select eso.exe or eso64.exe depending on if you use 32bit or 64bit client and create a shortcut or w/e you like and use this to launch ESO. This will bypass the Launcher client(where the bug is) and actually get you into the game with 1 less click lol.

The only times you'll need to open the launcher is when ESO is getting patched and you have to update. Or if you feel like you need to repair for w/e reason.

This is more of a windows systray updating issue, than it is anything else. If you don't see eso.exe (32 or 64) running in the task manager process listing, then the systray icon is just a systray update issue with windows and is not indicative of residual script execution.

Although I'm not certain of the cause, this only happens with ESO for me, when I use the Launcher. I can open and close many other programs and there is no left over icons. This is why I believe it's a visual bug with the launcher. But like I said, I'm not certain.

There is a memory leak that hinders the games operations and closing the client when the client has been running for awhile. It has been in the game for awhile.
