The whole argument against letting people hide vampirism is ridiculous

I would never want to hide my vampire. His appearance is what you might call "destructive beauty".

I like them as they are.

You can always feed to make yourself look normal if you really want to. And pop a helmet on if you're going to use vamp abilities, progress stages, and can't bear how you look.

Though I do like how they look.

Another issue here is most people try to make their character look decent as a mortal but not decent as a vampire, if you prepare before hand your character can look quite good as a vampire at the expense that they will look bad as a mortal.

If you were made into a vampire to use the powers then no, the change should not be allowed. You chose to become a vampire, and you chose to use the skill line that is available. Being a vampire has perks, but it also has consequences, those consequences are that your looks are changed and yes when you don't feed you do look hideous BUT you can hide and run around much faster.

Well, if vampies will be able to hide there ugly looks, I want to be able to hide my Dunmer look. Let us get everything we want. Shrug... you can hide your vampirism...It's called feeding. It's used as an identifier in PvP and I don't see any reason it shouldn't be used as a limited taunt vs mobs with fire abilities...just sayin.
