Trying to find "The Son of Molag Bal" - question

I am trying to finish the general executioner dolman achievement and all I have left on one of my characters is "The Son of Molag Bal". Based on the "Tamriel Journal" website page entry about it I see he can spawn in any of the zones listed on that page, but I do have two questions I am hoping folks can answer.

1. For me (my character is EP) can I go to any of the three zones listed to find him while I grind the dolmans or do I have to be in "my alliance zone". To me it makes sense that any of the three zones should work can someone confirm?
2. Are dolman's just random at spawning bosses or does having more people at the dolman somehow raise my chances? my biggest fear is it is semi-random but requires a large group to be at the dolman, that would suck.

1. You don't need to do dolmens only in your Alliance, he can spawn in dolmens in other Alliances too. So yes, any of the listed zones will work.

2. I think it's just random. First time he spawned for me when I was doing solo dolman in Rift, the second one he spawned while I was doing dolman in Bangkorai with 10+ people.

Yeah, it is completely random, and you are entirely dependent on luck in the general hunting. Just clear dolmen like there is no tomorrow, pick one zone, and do the circuit between the three dolment in it until it happens. Which can take annoyingly long. -shudders thinking about not having managed all the generals either, yet-

when I did the achievement, I was told that generals were more common in Cyrodiil. Since all the generals can spawn there, that's where I went for the hard to get ones.

Whether this is anecdotal or not, I have no idea, but I can tell you I was able to burn through this achievement very quickly in Cyrodiil. I literally just fought him twice in the last week riding from Cropsford to Sejanus (I hit the dolmen for a treb).

The "easiest" route will probably be to hit Auridon, and join the dolmen train. Also, the son of Molag Bal is a little bit of an oddity. He spawns directly in front of the boss pinion, instead of to the left of it.
