Really? I agreed and was happy with most of the changes but's it's thing like these that makes people question if you actually play the game.

I really don't see the problem? You go on the defensive for a few seconds, their wraith passive will go down, they're not getting any resources from constitution cause you're not damaging them. Then you're ready to counter? No big deal.

What a joke. The reason heavy armour builds are the best is because they have insane sustain and deal a lot of damage.

I think more or less people were expecting more balance than what came out of all this, to be honest. I get why some of these choices were made, however in the long run ZoS needs to start considering that they need to stop taking the short cut and start looking at things more individually.

If I run into 4 not-so-good people in Cyrodiil, including a heavy armour templar healbot, I guess not hitting the healbot is going to help me win that particular fight? It probably won't, and this is why small scale PvP is a pointless affair at the moment

The PTS changes are in the right direction but it's not enough yet. Game was way better off when active defenses were more valuable. That at least forced people to actively play the game and watch their surroundings. Roll dodge, timing abilities etc.

And next update theyre adding Magickasteal debuffs, which basically gives magicka builds a way to effectively sustain magicka without actual regen, too.

Yes, and if you stop hitting them for a few seconds they don't gain from the constitution passive and you'll reset their wraith passive.

A "few seconds" of taking damage is enough to kill certain NB DD's, who are not supposed to take on a defensive role. Sure you can stack up on health, but chances are you won't deal enough damage to kill a heavy armour user then.

Of course there's good NB players as well as bad HA builds, but most people aren't top players and I think an average NB has the lesser chance to survive vs an average HA player.

You mean back when heavy armor was worthless because the only defenses that mattered were active defenses? When everyone was one shot gankable? When almost every class, role, and player played as an assassin stealth build because that was the only way to get around the battlefield safely?

I disagree with that, in fact the staleness of gank or be ganked back then, and nearly everyone running bow/2H+Vamp bats was annoying. I still have my Akaviri Dragonguard sets from back then...

I would be willing to bet that only medium armor stam players want to go back to that.

The thing is, how the hell do you know someone is wearing heavy armor or not if they have a costume on? I can wear heavy and throw a light armor costume on and boom. Makes me look like a healer.

Not that I want costumes removed from pvp. Some armor is hideous and needs to be hidden under a costume

I thought it was funny, I'm guessing those comments came from wrobel since he loves making jokes about serious changes we desire. The best one was removing flames of oblivion AoE due to 'Client performance issues' then giving the ability to sorcerers later down the line. I wonder where that 'client performance issue' now.

Heavy armor needs to have wrath removed and the amount of resource gained by constitution, toned down a bit. I don't wanna nerf it heavily because I tank but if they were to revert it back to it's old changes then I would suffice with that too. Black rose needed to be dropped by at-least 15% not 5% btw lol.

    Balance:

Damage type armor has a hard time taking down the heavy guy, because mitigation

Defensive type armor( heavy ) has a hard time to take out anything because of low dmg output

    What we have:
Light and medium do less damage on the heavy target, compared to what the heavy armor guy can perform on the light and medium armor.

If a tank gets hit by 1-2k hits from a full offensive build with ~17k penetration, but can put out 5k upwarts on the light and medium guy, it is clear who will run out of HP first.

Ofc that is not true for every encounter, but as long that such things can happen, you can tweak abilities all day long, armor inbalance is the source of evil imo.
So no hate for heavy, i run it too on some builds.. but it is broken
