Is it possible to buy a house furnished, then afterwards move the furnishings around? Maybe sell/delete some, move them around go your liking? I would like a descent bed, but if I buy unfurnished, it may take me awhile to acquire one. I really hope items arent lockef into place or anything.... btw i play console, no access to pts to try this out myself.

You can buy furnished (crowns only) and then move everything around to your liking, yes.

Yes you can move the furnishings, even remove them or take them to a different house. You can add others too.

It does look like a lot of stuff but the one I bought furnished (the breton medium house) actually only used 134 of 200 items. I think it looks fuller because it's all big furniture - tables, chairs, sideboard etc. and most of it isn't against the wall.

The downside (IMO) is that all the furniture is in the same racial style as the house, and it's fairly generic. All the chairs are the same, all the tables etc. It's an easy way to get a full set of furniture (and by the sounds of things the racial stuff isn't easy to craft) but I think it's more boring than what players would put together themselves.
