I can, however, say (from what I've hard) that if you want to tank with a Dragonknight in PvE, you're probably better off going Stamina. None of the Magicka skills you use as a tank actually get stronger with more Magicka, and the utility of a bigger stamina pool is more important.
I'll start with gear. The first and foremost thing you want is a sustain set, which, if you want to tank, will be in heavy armor. I would reccomend Black Rose or Seducer. Black Rose will give you more survivability via a health bonus and extra stamina, while Seducer will give you more dependable Magicka regeneration. Next, you'll want a damage set for your rings and your S+B. For this, I reccomend Burning Spellweave or Silks of the Sun. Burning Spellweave is vastly superior in terms of damage, but Silks of the Sun is much easier to get, provides a health bonus, and has 100% uptime on its 5-piece bonus. You'll want to round it out with a monster set, most likely Valkyn Skoria for burst damage (which Magicka Dragonknights lack), Grothdarr to stack AoE, or Bloodspawn for some extra tankiness and extra Ultimate generation.
Now for skill bars. I like to have one bar for buffing and defending and a second bar for fighting. On my front bar (Sword and Shield), I like to run Flame Lash, Burning Talons, Burning Embers, Fossilize, Dragon Fire Scale/Mist Form/Inhale, and Shooting Star as my ultimate. My back bar is a lot more flexible, and I've been experimenting with both S+B and Restoration Staff (I think I prefer Resto overall). My back bar is usually Inhale/Dragon Fire Scale, Harness Magicka/Obsidian Shield/Coagulating Blood, Mist Form/Healing Ward, Volaitle Armor, Structured Entropy, and Devouring Swarm for my ultimate.
I think I've covered pretty much everything. Let me know if you have any more questions. I'll be happy to answer them in the morning.
I was talking about a PvP build. I thought I'd made that clear.Lightspeedflashb14_ESO wrote: »EldritchPenguin wrote: »I can't speak to the PvE side, because I don't tank, but I can say a few things about PvP. I don't see any taunts on your skill bar list. The OP asked for a magtank build and you literally can not be a tank without a taunt.

Without further ado, here's my PvP build. Just to be clear, don't use this in PvE.

From a purely PvP standpoint, Black Rose is actually very good for a Magicka tank, since it gives a ton of both Magicka and Stamina sustain. With that being said, however, Black Rose is the only set I mentioned that really works for Stamina characters. A Stamina tank wouldn't touch Burning Spellweave or Seducer with a ten foot pole. I'd think a Stamina DK in a PvP environment would probably run Black Rose, Viper, and Velidreth. The sets Eldtritch mentioned are good enough for a stamina tank, but for Magicka tank I don't really know.CosmicSoul wrote: »It can be mixed to as long as I can use my fire abilities.
