Some people recently got one that way but it was a mistake.
CS can apparently buy something for you with your crowns if you lodge a ticket and it's presently available for sale. Some of their staff apparently forgot or weren't checking the last bit.
They've since clarified that you can't buy no longer available mounts via CS.
I got mine from submitting a ticket so did jolly so did a few others.
I think they don't like you.
This was 100% true and I can produce the ticket log... but... I think that may spark world war 3.

We are currently testing a gifting program in which you can purchase and gift currently available Crown Store items to a friend. As this is in the very early stages, we are not yet ready to open it to everyone. We only allow for the sale and gifting of Crown Store items that are actively available in the Crown Store. Those who are participating in the testing of this program are not able to buy Crown Store items that are no longer available. There were recently a few cases where this was erroneously permitted, and have been corrected.
If you’re interested in participating in this program, you may contact our Support team but please keep in mind that this is currently a manual process. We hope this helps clear up any confusion about the program, and we look forward to bringing it to everyone in the future.
