Any viable styles that give out the most buffs?

Just curious if anyone has tried anything like this, I do not know if anyone has ever played everquest 1 or 2 but bard was my favorite because they could give allot of unique group buffs beyond your typical extra health buffs.

Sorry this an an ESO Forum. :D

There are some sets that provide an overall long group buff to stats like stamina and magicka, otherwise we have DK that gives short buffs like molten armaments or otherwise skills like warhorn and so on.

Ahhh so dk gets the most buffs for groups?

I'd say healer has more sets geared towards that.

I am interested in non healing buffs.

In your typical 4 man party, there isn't really room for a "buffer" or bard type character unless you're in the healer and/or tank role. Giving up a dps slot for a buff slot means you're basically just buffing the one remaining dps character. You'd be better off just being dps yourself. You say you're not interested in a healer/buffer so your next best bet is a tank/buffer. If you're talking about a 12 man trials group, there may be some potential there, but the best group buffs are usually covered by all roles. Night Mother's Gaze, Ebon, Spell Power Cure are provided by dps, tank and healer respectively most times.

How would you know though? If your increasing group dps by buffing and debuffing anyways by taking up a few slots it wont make much if a difference in fact it might give the group more depending on what you are. I have seen a few videos before on similar characters by popular youtubers who do say these are viable. I was just curious who provides the most buffs like that.

Most of the guys in trials try to get at least one skill for buffing or helping with healing in their rotations. Besides passives do that. A toon providing buffs that are already covered by others is nt good idea and you are losing one important role.

Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

He would know because he obviously has played the game and you seem to not have set foot in a vet dungeon or trial.
There are no buffers in ESO. Classes are designed to provide buffs while doing their task as DPS/Healer/Tank. You can play all of those three roles at once, but you cant play none.

In fact, sap tank can heal, give buff and tank at the same time, but must be build towards tanking

I would recommend playing a heavy utility dk tank. You can root enemies in place, reduce their damage, give your allies extra crit damage and health from Warhorn (alliance skill ability), small damage shield from igneous, major sorcery and brutality. There's a lot that a dk tank can do for a group.

You can easily do full rotations with less then a full set in the first place so that does not even make sense to me.

I did not say they cannot buff while doing dps stop making assumptions about things you clearly do not understand, and unless there are actual numbers you cannot make claims.
