I have been asking about this for a long time now and it seems it keeps getting ignored. I will give you an example: the classic bridge fight. If team A puts caltrops down at the entrance to the center of the bridge and people from team B or C run through and go up the stairs ABOVE where caltrops were laid, they will still take damage from caltrops even though the ability is one floor below them.
Imperial city, if someone uses caltrops outside of a building and someone is hiding on the inside of that build and still in the red circle but not in line of sight, caltrops will still hit them. This ability has been like this for a long time now. It will go through walls, ceilings, and even floors while still hitting everyone. I was just reminded of it when I logged on for the first time in a month to join pvp. The bridge fight happened and so did that caltrops.
@ZOS_RichLambert is there any way you guys can finally correct this? I know you guys have talked in the past about abilities ignoring line of sight were doing some wonky things to the servers, and this ability is one of the most heavily used in pvp and it is still ignoring line of sight checks. Please take care of this finally
