Stamina doesn't have the sustainability necessary, unless it's AOE to be viable anymore.
Your complicated melee rotation is easily broken by mechanics and your dps falls in a blink of an eye.
Trap was also nerfed, need I say more?
Magplar/Support will probably be the only two viable classes for Templar by the end of Q1.
Soon Stamplar will be absolute in end-game PVE, if it isn't already. Stick to Magplar.

Well this is bad news, but honestly I find mageplar boring so far, partly because I want to play a closer ranged playstyle while using some magical abilities, and the other it seems a bit to easy to play, I like healing in mmorpgs but for some reason I am just not digging it much so far in eso, and I am far more into buffing/cc support type of characters and eso does not seem to have that. The dps side is kind of fun but also feels way to easy and repetitive, I find dpsing with my sorc allot more varied and fun if that makes sense.

That was my understanding of Magplar as well, it seemed the rotation was too rinse and repeat, no matter the situation. Where as a Stam, I cycle between brutality, sustain and support buffs all the time which makes it so much fun.
Along the line I've followed several builds and ended up with this extremely mobile, ST nuker to try and kind of counter the nerfs and make it generally situational. But the closer I come to end-game content, the less viable the class feels, no matter how I skin the cat it stays a cat. With all the necessary gear and great rotation, recently I've been struggling to keep up with a simple Sorc dps.
With all the recent nerfs being thrown into Stam's face I wouldn't recommend trying it in the near future as it's looking bleak. I've been thinking about slowly expanding my trees and gear collection to be able to jump to Magplar when the time comes so my main-toon doesn't become a high level mule.

I used Redguard but Dark Elf would synergise well with the Pelinals and the hybrid setup, especially if you're using burning light, slightly less sustain though than using a redguard.
I changed to Magplar in the end, because I like trying different setups, but must admit I'm thinking of going back to stam as it was really strong.
