VMA medium/heavy compared

I farmed VMA with my NB and Sorc before and it was easy. Today i wanted to finish with my stam dk i read couple guides and watched videos about stam dk and vma runs and found them all misleading because every one of them were suggesting stacking full damage. So i did 7 medium 5x hundings rage 5x spriggan 2x valkyn skoria all divines dual wield. I wiped alot most of the arena i had high dps but i was so squishy. And i know if i memorize the mob spawn and prioritize targets i would have had less wipe. Anyway on second run i changed my build to pvp 5x black rose 5x viper 2x tremor 1h&shield full heavy all impen . While sipping my coffee i was completing the arenas with my one hand it was so easy and i didnt needed for high dps. With this setup my dps was avarage but i had insane survivability.

Those guides aren't misleading. If you want to farm it (or go for scores) you want to do it the fastest way possible. If you know the arena well enough you won't have any survivability issues in medium armor.

VMA is all about what your comfortable with nothing more nothing less if your going for Scores which I would assume those builds you looked up are going for higher the damage you deal the more mechanics you get to ignore which means less wipes.VMA when it comes to.leaderboards is all about killing before you are killed.

Yea i know i dont know the arena well with stam dk or i need to get use to it but i posted this for people having hard time completing the vma first timers will fail big time with full damage and frustrated if they follow those guides on internet.

Change viper for knights errant. Make that puncture hit harder and get heals at the same time. It makes weetardedly easy.

Swap skoria for velidreth, much better burstpotential. The faster you kill stuff in vmsa the better. Damage is everything

Setup I use is 5 VO 5 red mountain (viper would be better) and two velidreth. All medium divines. VO makes survivability much easier. It's also a good idea to use the healing morph of rapid strikes and front bar igneous shield with vigor (until your comfortable). This setup is nice and give consistent results.
